Marvel and Aconyte Books Announces “The Serpent and the Dead”
The third Marvel: Legends of Asgard prose novel from Aconyte Books and Marvel has been announced. The Serpent and the Dead is written by Anna Stephens and features Brunnhilde the Valkyrie and Lady Sif.
Brunnhilde is entrusted with guiding worthy souls to the heroes’ afterlife, but finds only empty hulks on a battlefield. The souls are not in Valhalla, nor are they in another afterworld. The souls have vanished. Brunnhilde enlists Lady Sif’s aid and they scour Asgard for answers. “Rumors abound of towns being attacked by a horde of soldiers who cannot be killed. Someone is building an immortal army and stealing Asgardian souls… A worthy challenge for two of Asgard’s mightiest champions!” (Marvel Comics)
The Serpent and the Dead goes on sale on August 3, 2021.

Rillirin: Oh no, you misheard me.
Rillirin: I said my childhood was a ‘sadness factory’
