A gem in the CBD, Wolf Wine Bar Restaurant and Bar
Once upon a time and not so long ago, at nightfall the streets of our city were a ghost town. In the blink of an eye however, Sydneyâs CBD has transformed into a bustling food and drink oasis, with new venues and restaurants opening weekly and in the heart of our financial district, just a short stroll from Martin Place is The Wolf Wine Bar. Run by Chef Peter Varvaressos, who you may know fromâŚ
Michelin Star dining in Sydney at The Langham @langhamsydney #thelangham
We may not have the internationally renowned Michelin Guide Star System in Australia but The Langham, is giving Sydneysiders a taste of Michelin-standard dishes. You would have seen the billboards with Bradley Cooper, looking sharp in his chef whites, promoting his new movie âBurntâ so to celebrate, The Langham, Sydney, challenged their Executive Chef, Thomas Heinrich and Head Dessert Chef,âŚ
Best Restaurants visits smokin' hot @FIREDOOR_Sydney @anna_lisle #firedoor
Two wood-fired ovens, four grills and a cast-iron Aga oven. Thatâs it. For most chefs of a certain calibre, this almost-archaic kitchen would be like stepping back in time.  For Lennox Hastie, head chef at Firedoor, this is the type of kitchen that dreams are made of.

THINK.EAT.SAVE: Preventing food wastage with Oz Harvest in Sydney
A diner wanders amongst OzHarvestâs temporary garden.
Tired of hearing that $10 billion of food wasted in Australia each year, OzHarvest reached out to Sydney-siders to share some food-saving hints and tips.
Yellow banners brightened the usually grey-slated Martin Place as OzHarvest held its second THINK.EAT.SAVEfood awareness day. Though the square plays regular host to performers, and majorâŚ

Tokyo Bird - Small Bar- Surry Hills - Best Restaurants
Tokyo Bird â Small Bar- Surry Hills â Best Restaurants
âWant to go to Birds of Tokyo?â, I ask my partner. âHell yesâ, he says, âWhen?â. âTonight?â I respond, shocked that he actually knows what Iâm talking about. âHow can you get tickets?â Silence. I suddenly realise my mistake. Scrambling, I try to sell it to him. âApparently itâs just like a bar in Shibuya!â âThey do yakitori chicken heart and liver!â I keep rattling off every aspect that I wasâŚ
Restaurant review: The Butler @thebutlersydney @anna_lisle #thebutler #pottspoint
What makes a restaurant successful? Does it offer something the city was missing, or suggest a fresh approach that deserves to catch on? Is it blogged about the most? Does it have the most instagram-worthy dishes? Have I gone back, or wished I could?
Sub-consciously, most of us are analysing these questions every time we dine out. In the case of The Butler, it is hard to pin down why theâŚ

The joint is jumpinâ: mixologists flamboyantly pour drinks to those whoâve nabbed a seat at the bar while chefs shuck away, sending out wooden Ruinart boxes of oysters to their fate. A bluesy soundtrack wafts over the vast space as patrons sip and slurp, oblivious to the muggy heat that has enveloped the rest of Sydney.
