Finn and Rayne: If Finn was the one 2 years older, he would've had the responsibility of taking care of Rayne but in this AU his confidence in himself and competency in magic wouldn't just switch, too. It would be difficult for Finn to be the older brother while also being an orphan but unlike in canon, he would not allow Rayne to push him aside. Pretty fast, Rayne would overtake his older brother in basically everything and he would want to be the one to take care of them, partly because he feels guilty, but Finn wouldn't let that happen even if his younger brother did steal better or make more money or was magically and physically stronger than him. Finn would stick to his role as the older brother however much Rayne wanted to be one himself.

Wirth and Orter: These two are difficult because they don't have a canon dynamic with each other past or present, so this will be an assumption based on another assumption. Wirth as the older brother would soon be overtaken by his 5 years younger brother in the one thing that mattered the most in their family: Magical prowess. And that would hit him harder than in canon. He would try to claw his way into greatness even worse than just being in Magia Lupus and he would crash badly with guilt and denial later when Orter gives up any ambitions and becomes a nobody police recruit. Orter wouldn't care for his sibling like in canon but Wirth would've a harder time ignoring a little brother compared to an older one.

Dot and Malta: I fear that just being older won't magically make Dot be more mature. He needs to experience stuff to get to that level, but for his younger sister he can pretend to be wiser than he is... when he isn't blowing up any bullies at sight with the all-time applicable "Blow them up first" as his only advise. If he meets his canon friends at the age of 20, though, I can see him being a lot calmer if only because his younger sister constantly reminds him to be calmer and be mindful of his new friends.

Been thinking over what anime (or manga) the mashle characters would be into for a while now cuz it's really fun to think about, if it even exists in their world 😅

Mash: Probably not super into it. Regro would buy him a few shonen comics when he was younger and they had the money to spare, and he enjoyed them but never got super into any of them. I think he did develop a taste for slice of life at Easton though.

Finn: He's been an anime fan since ages, and he's seen stuff from basically every genre. He's a shonen fan I think, specifically a Mairuma fan cuz he relates with Iruma.

Lemon: She didnt really watch any anime or read manga growing up but got introduced to it via Finn. She got insanely obsessed with MP100 bcz Mob reminded her of Mash, and then she started liking it for the story.

Dot: He acts like a shonen fan but he's actually not watched many shonen anime. He's actually really into magical girl shows because Malta went through a phase and made Dot sit with her through the entirety of Cardcaptor Sakura.

Lance: He's watched the entirety of the pokemon anime with Anna and collects Pokemon cards like his life depends on it, supposedly to send to her. He doesn't just have the dex memorised, he IS the Pokedex.
