Somethings Go Crash In The Night
Papyrus shuffled in his bed, pulling and nuzzling the comfortable blankets over his body. He had been tired and the training he did with undyne earlier that morning seemed to leave him restless.
A large crash echoed from downstairs in the kitchen. The lanky skeleton stood to his feet immediately. Papyrus rushed downstairs to check for intruders; no one was there except for a now broken vase. he grabbed the broom from the closet and cleaned the shattered glass on the floor. Something about the living room during the night seemed to creep him out, a shiver ran up his spine and made papyrus shudder, despite not having skin. Papyrus let out a small sigh and placed the cleaning item back in the closet and headed back upstairs.
His eyes shot wide, he nearly face planted onto the floor. Papyrus stared at what had caused his near downward fall. Sans. asleep on the floor was his brother. the lanky skeleton reached down and lifted the smaller into his arms.
Papyrus carefully placed his smaller brother back in his bed and shut his door firmly before climbing back into his own bed.
The tall skeleton let out a hardy breath. he looked back at the fridge.
‘TUESDAYS-THURSDAYS-SUNDAYS: TRAINING W/ UNDYNE’
Papyrus shook his skull and took a bit of his cereal. Sans stepped into the kitchen, a yawn escaping his mouth before he sat down. “morning papyrus...” the smaller chubby skeleton gazed up at his older brother “Morning Sans-” the lanky skeleton grumbled half tiredly.
Sans watched his brother slip on his boots and wrap his scarf around his neck. The scarf made sans feel uncomfortable at times, especially when papyrus was annoyed like this.
The small skeleton paused before grabbing the tail end of his scarf. “w-wait! don’t go!” he pleaded softy, papyrus turned to him and pinched the bridge of his nose “Sans Please, Not Today...” he grumbled angrily “I’m not in the mood so just Drop It for once!” he quirrled his face and slammed the door shut.
Once the door was locked, papyrus covered his face. “C’mon, just one more day- focus! then you can apologize and spend the rest of the day making puzzles, watch TV or-” the tall skeleton stopped before continuing to waterfall.
‘relax, he probably never got the chance to tell you the truth of how he REALLY feels about you’
