"To be human," what a pity.
I weep for them, their savagery.
What a curse it is, to love humanity.

I didn't fall from grace.
I jumped
For you
An angel trapped in it's own divine promise.
How can an angel make so many mistakes?
I suppose angels are natural people pleasers. Though if I was made for it, why must it hurt so much?

Dirty and awful

We are taught to pity the humans, taught that they are weak little beings, that they need our guidance, our aid, for even the most simplistic of tasks.
However, we are never taught to pity ourselves. No, as angels, divine beings of light, we are to be infallible, completely unable to do wrong. To Be Perfect. Is that not what the essence of an angel is? A perfect creature, one of guidance, for beings who don't know what they're doing, who don't know the correct path.
If I, an angel myself, were to tell you how I feel? I'd say we are the ones to be pitied.
I weep golden tears, and as they burn down my porcelain cheeks, I look skyward, toward the home that has forsaken me, asking the almighty question.
"Why must I suffer here? In this unholy place, this realm of which I am not familiar. Why must I be the sacrifice?"
