      Even with how messy things had become between himself and Matilde it didn’t mean that he wouldn’t be there to defend her when need be.  Gabriel would like to believe that he had done the right thing by calling the engagement off and mainly because he didn’t want to continue to put her through the emotional pain.  “ He was being an asshat, and I wasn’t going to just sit back and allow him to speak to you that way. “  Sure Gabriel knew that it likely wasn’t any of his business to get involved in her relationship with the other male but Matilde has always been the one female in his life that he has ever had the urge to defend with ever bone in his body.  @glittersrush​

de’arra slowly rolled off of the other and onto her back. her head sunk into the pillow. she was panting for a short while before she regained composure. her eyes planted on the ceiling, refusing to glance over at them. there were so many emotions coursing through the girl. at first, she felt satisfied and happy-- euphoric, really. now, however, most of her emotions had to do with instant shame, guilt, and some regret. this wasn’t what she expected to happen. at least, this wasn’t how she wanted this to happen. all she could think about was how much of a homewrecker she was. de’arra had dreamt of sleeping with the other moment for a long time. she was madly in love with her former best friend for the majority of her life, but they never seemed to move forward from there. the duo didn’t have a bad falling out, but they drifted towards other people. somehow, though, they found each other once again. “i-i’m sorry,” she mumbled, “we-- i shouldn’t have.” // @glittersrush​ ( based on )

        “good morning, beautiful.” the words came out easily, gunner smiling to himself as arms wrapped around their waist once he made it into the kitchen. gunner was a very sensitive guy, and even though they weren’t really supposed to be together he liked to spend the night. even though there was breakfast being made, gunner didn’t particularly care. the night before was magical, in his opinion. and he wanted to recreate some of the magic they experienced. “you got a minute?” he questioned, but he was already pressing kisses against the back of their neck.

     𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐍'𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐇 𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆. she’d had a massive blowout with her best friend. of course, it happened the night she was supposed to stay over. she was so furious she couldn’t stand to be in the room with her any longer. delilah didn’t know what else to do, except leave. with a frustrated sigh, she furiously tiptoes her way to edith’s door, knuckles rapping against the wooden door. she doesn’t wait too long for an answer before she pops her head in the room. “ i kinda... pissed your sister off, ” delilah starts, nails scratching at the back of her neck. “ do you care if i stay in here for awhile ?? ” she questions, lifting a brow. “ if not i can just, y’know, go home. but i thought we could talk until this all just blew over, ” delilah explains herself, taking a step in to the room now.

“hello!!” it’s the dead of night just days out from christmas, and buddy doesn’t realize why it’s weird that he’s on a stranger’s roof. what he does think is weird, is the utter lack of christmas decorations on this home. “it’s almost christmas and you were the only house that wasn’t decorated! i hope you like it!” he smiles proudly at the tons of string lights and tinsel he’s done so far, all by himself.

       Sutton knows well that the the two of them need to stop whatever game they’re playing with one another because it’s only going to lead to heart break in the end.  Something Sutton isn’t sure she can go through again at the hands of Fraser again.  “ This needs to stop, we need to stop doing whatever the hell this is because I promise you that it’s only going to end badly. “   As much as she still loves him she has been telling herself for years that she needs to move on and she thought she possibly succeeded that, but the moment she laid eyes on him again all the progress had gone out the window.  Now it’s been months and somehow the two have seemed more attached to one another than they had been as teenagers.
