I just realized, just now, that in elementary school I had a music class, and I had to learn around two songs on the piano, I think.

as you would expect, I thought it was really hard. so that hasn't changed. I just think it's weird that I got into it years later, especially since I'm not usually into that kind of stuff.

I wonder if I would get war flashbacks if I tried to play "Mary had a little lamb" again

Any time I talk about shipping stuff I hit the thought of -- "Sinister would never approve of that."

...And really that's whatever on multiple levels because:

1. She is a grown ass man.

2. She's as headstrong as he is and is going to do what she wants in this respect anyways.

3. No one she's dated likes him either.

But all that aside- I'm not... I don't know that there's somehow he would approve of? Like, I don't think there's anyone who's going to hit the standard he would approve.

She also has never told him. Ever. It's the one thing she keeps from him. She doesn't actually want his feedback or input on it-- because it, and it's almost the only part of her life she can always say this about, has nothing to do with him. His input means nothing because it doesn't affect him.

I imagine the standard is how it reflects on him and if it helps his work in the long run and not her happiness/treatment unless that also effects the same things. Not caring because his daughter is dating. Lol Come on now.

at some point in my life I hope to find the balance that means I don't go between inertia and doing seven things at once. that would be good for me, I think.
