In case you were wondering what happened to vegan cart Kitchen Dances since they're no longer at the Good Food Here Pod at SE 43rd and Belmont, here's what they've been up to. After closing up for the winter, they sold the cart they were using as they had outgrown it. They hope to have a larger cart in the near future, but in the meantime, they are at the Montavilla Farmers Market on Sundays where they have both cooked and raw foods (including wraps, raw cheesecakes, pies, truffles, hazelnut fudge, salads, raw pesto & hummus, and kombucha). You can find their products at People's Co-op and Alberta Co-op and their raw cheesecake is available at A.N.D Cafe and Papa G's.

Opening day for the new vegetarian cafe from Off the Griddle owners Ashley and Dan (thus the name) is tomorrow, the 11th [postponed to Saturday the 12th due to electrical issues], at 8am. Expect menu items like vegan/gluten-free waffles with topping options like smoked molasses syrup, cranberry tofutti cream cheese, and fruit; and biscuits & gravy.

By the way, Off the Griddle will be closed tomorrow, but might open for dinner.
