Did the rest of the ghost friends (and the required shared actor joke when it comes to Darryl, which is partly why he has purple in his outfit) for a Steven Universe/gem inspired TGAMM au.

I had the idea that anyone with the diamond symbol is from Homeworld, and that the Chen siblings fill the role of Peridot (a gem that eventually sees the value in Earth and pulls a heel-face turn.)

Ok, so has for that diamond twist I mentioned…

Everything I gathered favored Molly as secretly/unknowingly being a Diamond (haven’t figured out all the details). Not only does the symbolism of yellow diamonds line up with her, but YD being able to restore a gem’s physical from via touch was a huge deciding factor. Molly could be able to restore Scratch’s physical form, but because you need all four diamonds to reverse corruption, he can only retain that form as long as Molly’s touching him (which means LOTS of hugs).

And I was pleasantly surprised at how pretty Scratch's normal form turned out when I used those shades of blues, especially where there needed to be darker hues on the skin tone.

Making Sally and Jeff Pink Diamond and Blue Diamond was a no brainer, (blue diamonds also symbolize loyalty, fittingly enough). However I had to tone down the pinks on Sally since she’s very different from SU’s PD. In case anyone asks–I don’t know who White Diamond is yet.
