Hello and welcome to Camp Skaia! There are many lovely cabins to choose from, each being able to hold up to four people at a time! Cabin mates are yours to choose, though if too much fighting occurs one of the Camp Conselors will have you moved to another cabin. Our goal here at Camp Skaia is to show you the wonders of wild life. There are nature walks as well as lessons on how to survive in the wilderness. Other than cabins, there is the Mess Hall where you shall be enjoying your breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We also have a lovely lake, Lake Prospit, for canoeing, swimming, and many other enjoyable activities. You are free to explore the forest, Alternia, as much as you please during your freetime so long as you avoid the section we call Derse. There are many dangerous plants, and animals, in that region so stay away. Cabins shall be rated each week on the work of the children staying in it, their behaviour, and the tidiness of the cabin. The cabin that earns to most points at the end of the week gets special privilages all throughout the next week, unless they break camp rules. Camp rules go as followed: 1) You will treat other campers with kindness. 2) No inappropriate shenanigans(aka: don't get caught) 3) If you are scheduled for a lesson or activity, you must be on time or risk losing points or being punished. 4) Clean up after yourselves. A messy camp results in point reduction from all cabins. Special Activities include: Archery, Canoeing, Â Tree Climbing, Herb Knowledge, Survival Tactics, Trap Setting, Hunting, and several more. Ask a Camp Conselor for more details. At the end of each month, a dance is held. Attendance is mandatory, unless you recieve permission to be absent. Enjoy your summer here, at Camp Skaia.
