When you waited in line for hours for your interview, you had a whole bunch of food with you. Originally, you didn’t plan on going to this interview, but it was literally right outside your apartment so why not?

When you were inside the building, you had to put your phone and any electronics up for this one, which you were confused about since the other streamers were streaming their interviews, but you didn’t complain. You gave them your stuff and they put it in a locker for you and you waited in line.

You saw a lot of people coming out of the room crying or getting angry. You didn’t know what the fuck happened in the room for literally grown adults to be crying like that. You looked around and a boy had gotten your attention.

“You here for your interview too?” The boy asked you.

“Yeah, but I’m only doing it for fun. It was literally right outside my house so I’m like, why not?” You said, and you guys both laughed for some reason.

“Cool, what’s your name?” He asked you. “(Name), what’s yours?” You replied and asked for his name. “Wardrobe.” He told you. Like the stuff you put your clothes in, you thought but you wasn’t gonna say anything. He looked sweet and kind, and obviously on the rainbow but that didn’t matter.

“Do you stream or anything?” He asked. “Nope.” You answered honestly. He scratched his head and looked at you, “well good luck then.”

You guys talked for a little longer until it was your turn. He wished you luck before you headed in there. Kai was looking down, writing down whatever he needs to write down. “Name and username on any streaming platform.” He said, not looking up.

“Uh, I’m (Name) and I don’t really have a streaming platform..” you said, now starting to get a little nervous. Kai started getting aggravated now, “then why the fuck are you he—” when he looked up, he paused. He took one look and approved you.

“Okay so, give me your number and your instagram and we’ll keep in touch. For like the details about SU you know?” He said, trying to be slick with it. Which worked because you thought he did this with everyone. But he didn’t, only you. You wrote your shit down and once it was done, he looked right back at you. “Orientation is next month, you gon’ be there, aight?”

You nodded and waved him goodbye. “See you there, Kai!” And you left the room. Wardrobe was next and he looked at you, expecting you to tell him you didn’t get in. “I got in!” You said.

“Girl what?! How the hell did you get in?” He asked, genuinely shocked. “Man, ion even know myself. But I’m wishing you luck, gimme your insta so you can tell me if you got in.” You said, and he happily gave it to you.

Next month, you sat in the little auditorium with Wardrobe since he was the only one you knew at the time. You guys were both happy that you guys got accepted, that’s when yalls friendship really started growing.

After everything, you guys were off to look for your dorms. You got paired with Gio, it said it on your paper, and you didn’t know who that was. You just hoped whoever it was, they were nice. You didn’t wanna deal with anyone rude.

When you got into your dorm, you set up your side of the room and made sure nothing was gonna touch their side of the room. Once the door opened, you looked at who it was and it was Wardrobe. You got excited because you thought he was your roommate.

“Ooouu shiii, you my roommate?” You asked, smiling. “Girl no, boy with boy and girl with girl. But i wish i was with you, i got stuck with Max.” He said, sulking. “Plaqueboymax?” You questioned, wanting to confirm. “Yes, bruh.” He said.

You laughed in his face and he playfully rolled his eyes. “Anyway, who you got?” He asked you. “Some girl named Gio. I thought it was a boy.” You said. “Ooouu girl, she fine as hell. Too bad she dating playboicarti.” Wardrobe said.

Once Wardrobe left, you went on Pinterest to go look at her. As soon as you saw her you folded, if you weren’t straight, you’d be on that immediately. But you were straight and she had a man so you weren’t gonna do anything.

When Gio walked in, you jumped out of your trance immediately and looked at her. And you gave her a wave. “You must be Gio right?” You asked. And she nodded with a smile on her face. “Yeah, you must be (Name) then.” She said and you nodded.

You both were just chatting it up until Kai had called your name up to the office. You were confused because you didn’t do anything. “Someone in trouble.” Gio said, laughing at you and you rolled your eyes playfully before heading to the office.

Once you got there, you noticed that all the cameras was off, he told you to sit down on the stool and so you did. “Okay so what did I do?” You asked. “Nothing. We gotta set you up a twitch account so you can stream. Whole point of SU.” He said, typing on the computer.

You guys were talking and stuff and he had set you up an account and made sure to give you the instructions before sending you off.

For the next few days, you’ve noticed how much you and Kai have gotten closer. And you didn’t realize how much special treatment he was giving you.

#1 he made sure no one messed with you or did anything to make you uncomfortable.

#2 when he saw you skipping class, he’d ignore it and talk to you about it privately instead of on stream.

#3 he made sure you came and saw him everyday in his office and let you DoorDash whatever food you wanted instead of the things they provided downstairs.

#4 his camera man is your camera man, he didn’t want anyone else to film your stream if he didn’t know them.

#5 you guys would be making out in the bathroom, making you guys feel like teenagers all over again

He did a whole bunch of shit that was against the rules, but if it was with you, he’d always break the rules. Right now, you were chilling in his bed and he was giving you kisses on the cheek. “Yo, what if we just left someone else in charge and we left?” He asked.

“Are you slow? You know you can’t do that, you literally hosted this whole thing, so you gotta stay. But it’s okay because imma be right here with you.” You said, which made him smile a lil. “Aight den, I guess we stay. But I’m gonna take you out after, kay?” He said.
