Rei sighed as he was sitting in a carriage to meet someone he was betrothed to marry. He would rather be in his room researching but no this was more important. It took a hour before they made it to their destination and Rei stood up to get out. He adjusted his cloak as it was a bit cold and fixed his hat. "Might as well get this over with. Right, Father?" He asked his feathered companion who flew next to him.
Ammons family had gotten into high society through their fabric trade, amassing a sizable amount of wealth that way. Now the families had decided to tighten their bond so both could gain from the relationship.
So he was standing outside of their estate, waiting patiently for the royal guest to arrive. Dressed in fine clothes while his father stood behind him, making sure he didn't do anything stupid. As they saw the royal carriage come they fixed their clothes and bowed even before the doors opened. "We welcome you, your highness." They said in unison.

The book of Mormon becomes infinitely more fun to interact with when viewed as mythology. I want to play with it like Playdough. Subvert themes and take apart the morals. How many times have the stories of The Odyssey, King Arthur, Shakespeare been retold? Each retelling is influenced by the ideas and morals of the writer and time period. And i LOVE THAT. I love the way stories change!!!
Anyway...
