“I’ve got movies, snacks, and wine. Lots of wine.” She grinned and set the tray of goods down on the coffee table. With Wil almost completely moved out of the house, it felt particularly emptier than usual, and Rosa’s company was a warm welcome. It was both terrifying and exciting to have a whole house all to herself regularly, and this felt like the perfect chance to continue to get to know Rosa better. She poured them both a glass of wine, then went straight for cheddar popcorn. After getting a mouthful, she scanned the movie selection for something Rosa might like. “We’ve got romance, comedy, action, spooky, fantasy…anything sound like it might strike your fancy?” She smiled, perching herself on the arm of the couch while she waited. “Thanks for coming over, by the way. Just let me know if you need anything else tonight, and be prepared for a big breakfast tomorrow.” Luna stood and went back to the movies, switching between selections. “Alright…let’s get this marathon started so we can fill up on food. Those Twizzlers are calling my name.”

There were a lot of adjustments to make when one went from being human to being a werewolf. One that wasn’t thought of immediately was relearning your alcohol intake. As a human, someone had a limit. As a werewolf, that limit got extended, but there was still a limit. When he and Melody got drinks one evening, she found her new limit. They’d been enjoying good conversation, appetizers, and refill after refill of drinks. He hadn’t been paying attention to what all they had, and before he knew it, her cheeks had become rosy, and she was just a tad unsteady in her seat. He paid for the check, much to her dismay, and was soon helping her stand on wobbly legs to get outside into the brisk night air. She stumbled and laughed the moment they were on the sidewalk, and Nate had to crack a smile, too. The days of being a new wolf. They got to her house without many problems, though he did have to carry her the last half of the trek as the alcohol settled in more. It took her more than a few minutes of searching through her purse to remember her keys had been in her front pocket the whole time, eliciting another laugh. He set her down on her couch, got her a glass of water, and waited beside her until he could hear soft snores coming from her direction. The next morning, he awoke to a text saying thank you for helping her get home. Along with a question about what he thought the best hangover cure might be. He chuckled and sent her a few links to some recipes and tips she might find useful. Time to put this down as one more lesson learned on her journey to lycanthropy. Considering what some of the other lessons would be, at least this one had actually been somewhat enjoyable. Hangover from hell aside.

Tobias guided Amber into his garage, her eyes blindfolded because he wanted this to be a complete and utter shock. Would she like it? He didn’t know. Would she use it? He still didn’t know. But that wasn’t gonna stop him on his quest to get her to live a little. When they finally stood in front of it, he stopped her, headed over to her gift, and smiled wide. “Aight. Take the blindfold off, and thank me all you want.” Amber did so, and her eyes widened as she stared in disbelief at the motorcycle. Tobias ran a hand along the handles, the seat, doing his best Vanna White impersonation. “That’s right. This baby’s all yours.” He swept a hand dramatically along the sides, damn near giddy as she looked on in awe. “You ready to take this puppy out for a spin and go all Evel Knievel on it?” He tossed a helmet at her that she almost didn’t catch, then took a seat on the back, patting the spot in front of him. “Even got a sidecar for it when you’re ready. Thought you might wanna save that for after you get all that euphoria out, though.” He hopped up and down where he sat. “Come on! The evening’s just right for a ride. So get your ass over here and let’s see what you got.”
