Death still has consequences when a person is revived from it. This usually comes in the form of scars or permanent injuries. For both rider and dragons.
Ambear has nasty 3rd degree burn scars across her entire body and deals with chronic pain and numbness that comes with it. Luckily though her dragon is unaffected due to having be born post revival.
Drift and Fern have permanent limps now due to their fall. Scott and Pyro make ice or heat packs for them depending on their needs/if they need it. Shelby helped Drift make a cane and brace that would let her easily transverse terrain!
Wait this is actually really fun to consider.. I’d imagine all physical wounds heal, but I love the idea that their existence can’t be permanently erased, energy occurred and must have a consequence.
I wonder if the academy has something akin to those swimming physical therapy rings for horses to use for the dragons, even if they’re currently babies.. help take weight off the injury while still exercising the injured limb. This is lovely!!
