So, I haven’t been posting all my edits on tumblr, and just been posting them on YouTube (@Huskyjuice), but I really wanted to post this one on here because I feel like this song fits AJ so well, and I’m hoping people will join me in discussing.

So idk, AJ is very Imagine Dragons coded to me. Especially from Mercury acts 1 and 2.

Dull Knives is one of the ones that just fits so well for her to me, both with her chronic pain and mental illness, she literally feels as though she’s decaying from the inside. Slowly, and painfully.

She also puts on this front, this mask which makes her seem perfectly fine. Most people just see her as a bully really. Even the people she’s closest with know nothing about her. Magpie only just found out about the pain that’s been eating her alive. A big thing I tried to put in the edit is that she’s hiding it from Drift, all of her pain and her feelings, because I’m Driftsey pilled lol. But also because she is, and this is kind of my perspective on why I guess?
