There's a new Amazon advert where a girl watches Good Omens then buys plants and a plant mister. And I'm not gonna lie, that's a very accurate representation of what happens after watching Good Omens for the first time.
TIL Amazon ads show the price of most items as $0.01, rather than the actual price
So, I have tried Amazon ads to attempt to sell my poor little book to people who maybe have some nice gift cards or such from the holidays. In about 12 hours I have 28 impressions, but no clicks.
That’s okay, I don’t click on most of the sponsored links either… the goal is to find the handful of people who are going to see it and say YASSS THIS IS WHAT I WANT, not to just get a bunch of random clicks from people who don’t care.
I set my own keywords because the suggestions were mostly completely unrelated (it really isn’t a hockey romance, y’all…). Not sure if they’re good ones or not, but I guess we’ll see.
