A release spell and some cleansing.

Lighting my written release on fire and watching it burns felt soothing. As it always does. I felt immediate relief and a weight was lifted off my shoulders. To seal the deal, so to speak, I used a match incense and cleansed the area, along with a short blessing.

Followed by a banishment spell with a high flame..

My black tea light candle's flame was higher than I've ever seen. I take that with high regard or simply as an act of true magical work. When I read flames, I read them as how it feels to me. This felt powerful. As if I had accomplished my goals and then some.

Today my coven sisters and I decided to preform a ritual for new beginnings, since Imbolc itself is meant for growth.

We wrote our intentions out on a slip of paper and remained in tune with those very intentions for the entirety of the ritual and we will have (or had) continued too until we are sleeping.

After writing our goals for ourselves down, the candle was lit as we repeated our spell several times over. We thanked all who needed to be thanked and praised all who needed to be praised.

Once that was all said and done, we dripped the candle wax onto our intention paper slips and let it dry. Meditating while it was drying and focusing on what we had written down for ourselves and focusing on each others energy to assist.

After some time had gone by, we calmy broke meditation to read our wax droplets. What they meant to us, how they spoke to us, and what we felt. Silently, we thought and eventually started drifting into another meditation trance.

A few mintues had passed before we all spoke again. Sharing our experiences as the candle still burned. In the moment of the situation and aware of what we had accomplished, we explained our wax droplets to each other.

Now, at the moment there is only three of us in our coven, and I tend to be the leader of the group.. Which causes me to tend to absorb what theyre feeling over what I feel myself.

I explained to them how I felt about each of their intentions energy and wax droplets.. Which caused no fuss as all was well.

We then closed our ceremony and snuffed the candle, carrying on our days with a sense of pride in what we had just done..

.. but I just couldn't shake the feeling that more had to be done, so as they did what they pleased, I pulled out my pendulum and its respective chart. Letting the pendulum charge on the chart as I lit another candle and focused on new intentions.

I asked my questions and pulled the answers from my deepest consciousness, using the pendulum as my guide, which put my mind at rest and calmed the eerie feeling I had.

This time, I meditated on myself and only myself. Once my pendulum had essentially called out to me, letting me know it was charged enough, I picked it up and began my divination practice. The pendulum spun wildly before swaying towards "Ready For Question."

Now for the rest on my night and into the early morning before I rest, I will be working on my spellbook..
