For full context, while out on a mission led by Mace Windu, Jedi Knight Prosset Dibs tried to kill Master Windu, arguing that by going to war the Jedi Order had become that which he is sworn to destroy - and since Mace is one of the heads of the Order he is responsible.
In punishment for this crime the Jedi sentence him to work in the library. Even after his sentencing, he continues to vocalize his intent to harm Mace Windu.
First of all I think it is safe to say, definitively, that flawed narrator Anakin Skywalker’s worries that the Jedi would kick him out or punish him for all sorts of relatively minor infractions (and what isn’t minor compared to trying to murder Mace Windu) was the result of listening to the very very very bad council of his good friend Sheev Palpatine. You really think the body that was willing to keep this guy around to redeem him would have discarded Anakin?
Secondly - How many Jedi reacted in this manner to the Clone Wars? We know Barriss felt similarly, although unlike Prosset here she actually would successfully murder multiple individuals when she launched her own attack against the Order. Were the members of the Order who felt this way largely unaware of each other, or did they start to form their own network within the Order? How many people was Prosset still in contact with after his punishment? For example, Barriss was known to be very into her studies at the library - was he in contact with her? Recently in the Darth Vader comic we were told that all of the inquisitors are former Jedi - could any of this be part of how they got their start?
Mace Windu is not particularly judgmental, or angry. He’s actually a very funny guy. Really. Don’t take my word for it, take his:
