The Royal Knights they generally use is the current group led by Alphamon and Omegamon
However, it is known that Imperialdramon had their own era of Royal Knights when they originally founded the group in ancient times and Kenji Watanabe has mentioned a desire to have a new set of Royal Knights to succeed the current group with Jesmon being the one connecting the present with the future
Ironically, Time Stranger's concept would've been perfect for this idea with a past, present, and future era that would each be protected by a different era of knights

The Digimon royal knight is Arthur's round table...so who's who
I know pm inperialdramon is king Arthur
And alphamon is the empty seat
Even though Alphamon is supposed to be the leader of the Royal Knights, the one who keeps getting new forms every now and then is usually Omegamon, he just happens to be much more marketable. I wonder if someone at Bandai regrets how they wrote the hierarchy in retrospect, perhaps that's just their way of saying they'd prefer if we just forget about the guy.
