Typography Tuesday

Today, a few Art Nouveau alphabets from an early 20th-century Dutch manual for sign painters, as reproduced in ABZ, edited by Julian Rothenstein and Mel Gooding, and published in San Francisco by Chronicle Books in 2003 (an earlier edition was published by Shambhala in 1993 as Alphabets & Other Signs).

Stanley Snyder SFW Alphabets A-J

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
