Tina had not expected the most difficult part of her first few weeks in MACUSA’s auror department to be making friends with the candlestick on her desk, but then again, the universe enjoys curve-balls.  And she would get the sassy sconce.

After the first week, she’d managed to get it to stop dimming the lights on her.

A few days and several burns later, she was able to change out the candles when they got too low.

By the end of the month the two had come to an agreement of sorts: the candlestick would behave and at night before she left, she’d sprinkle different powders over the flame and let the contraption blow multi-colored sparks.

For this week’s offering, we’ve got something inspired by @allscissorsallpaper‘s story “Have We Met Before?” which, as is usually the case, inspired me to write the scene I’m presenting today. All thanks to her for letting me play in her sandbox.

For today's Saturday Smut feature, I am offering another slice of someone else's universe (with their full permission, of course!) All thanks go to @allscissorsallpaper for allowing me to play in her Back on the Map universe. I knew, from the moment I read her first-draft, that I'd have to do something with her vision of Newt and Tina in a modern setting. So I grovelled, and she allowed it.

So please, savor some sapiosexual!Newt, affectionate!Tina, and scads of animal language and metaphors. Oh, and let's not forget the smokin' hot sex!

It's that time of the week again, when Katie Havok pushes the boundaries of decency (and sanity) to deliver a dose of toe-curling, unapologetic porn. That's right, it's time for Saturday Smut!

This week, I'm doing something a little different. Not only is this a prompt fill, not only does it fulfill my urge to employ new adjectives in my work, but it's also based on another fanfic and takes place within that universe.

Praise be to AO3 user returntosaturn (@allscissorsallpaper on Tumblr) for letting me play with the Newt and Tina she uses in her fantastic piece, "Both of Us Above". There may be more stuff written in her universe's in the future, so stayed tuned.

So, here: have experienced!Tina, inexperienced!Newt, an enthusiastic if rather fumbling encounter in Tina's dressing room, and syrupy, lovey-dovey, hands-on, first-time sex.
