Wrote it all out, then see what isn’t really needed, what can be condensed, or what can be expanded. If for most of the story you feel like one chapter per trimester is enough but you have one scene you just can’t bate to let go of, stick with the single chapter trimesters and publish the extraneous scene as a “deleted scene” fic after you publish it.

Ah, I did the same thing! My dog came from a rescue nearby (he's a Chihuahua/min-pin mix) and he was chipped with it. I actually kept the little house on my keys because it has the number of his chip on it.
Thats smart, i was never sure if it was necessary to have on his actual collar, i feel like its the norm for people to scan a lost dog fro a chip. and like he has another tag with our address and phone number.
