   malia had finally made it to the resistanceâs base.    it hadnât been easy  ââ   itâd taken more than her    fair share of begging && pleading.   she hadnât a    single doubt that it would not be worth it, though.    even if she wasnât prepared for rey to have mixed    feelings about her presence reemerging, she was    going to take the risk. sheâd made a big mistake    by abandoning her daughter in the first place.  to    continue  on with  the  mistake  would have  been    nothing   short   of   (  completely )    foolish.
           theyâd told her that rey was to leave            soon, which had put her in quite the            haste to try  and  find  her among all            of the  other people here.  but when            she  caught  a  mere  glimpse  of the            girl,   she  knew it was her daughter.
