I like to believe that he can summon literally any weapon that has a blade (I am partial to the idea that Jason would manifest a giant all-blades axe every once in a while, in loving respect to Artemis) , or create any kind of weapon that serves to cut and slice to some degree. Some things I’ve thought of Jason doing with his swords:

-using the two blades design as a decoy. It gives him an ace up his sleeve when he can manipulate his blades to look like his Kris dagger or any tiny blade when he knows his enemy expects him to carry to blazing ass swords

-can make the blade stretch really long or short. Imagine getting stabbed with a tiny ass blade and thinking “yeah I can deal with that” and then a second later the sword elongates and forms an exit wound. Much more dire circumstances for an enemy

-turns the Geneva convention into a check list. Probably can make the blade curve and twist in unnatural angles before or after piercing someone to cause maximum damage

I like thinking of this partially because of the number of restrictions the all blades have in canon. If they can only be unleashed in the presence of absolute evil, and can only be used against magical/supernatural beings,,,,then they should at least have upsides to them too.

rhato 2016 is one of those comic runs that i should probably read eventually but haven't really felt the need to (i've read 1-8 and then 26 onwards, but skipped much of the actual arty + biz + jason teamup) so i unfortunately do not have many thoughts on the jason & artemis relationship. giant axe is neat, though.

other than that, i do like your ideas!! giving the all-blades more variety in general would be fun, and i'm actually kind of obsessed with the idea of jason forming them into these weapons that are significant to the people around him! (artemis's axe, the dagger talia gifted him)... literally shaping his soul after the people he cares about. i think the implications of using all-blade batarangs would hence be fun.

honestly i don't think the all-blades have that many restrictions in canon. or if it does, then canon's not consistent enough for any of those restrictions to matter.

like rhato says it's for absolute-evil-only at some point, but it also says a bunch of other things that are not particularly consistent. jason needs to draw his own blood in rhato (2011) #4 to use them, and this never happens again. in rhato (2016) #33 or 34 (don't remember which) he uses them to straight up vaporize an (ex?) all-caste member who was probably not ontologically evil. + there's a superman/batman annual where jason is using them against regular henchmen.

idk tho maybe one big sword when he loves himself <3 or he gets a spirit gun 😍

REALLY REALLY FUN THOUGHT ANON!!! i do think the whole thing about jason intentionally training his soul into this "incorrect" shape makes a lot of sense, especially since it would have been the all-caste teaching him to do it their way. in general, yeah, i'd love to see more about how the all-blades are quite literally jason molding his soul into a weapon, especially since this is at the behest of someone else.

i think often about how the all-caste is presented as almost a second family for jason. but much like the batfam, they drag him into a larger conflict (the untitled for the all-caste, All Of Crime in gotham for the batfam.) and jason needs to mold himself into a specific shape to fulfill what they want from him. (the swords, living up to the expectation dick set.) the parallels.....

It can be anything: universe with the same people that he knows but fantasy, a book he read, or even better — manga/anime.

What will he do? The possibilities are endless. An assassin? He certainly possesses enough skills and more to make it far. ALSO!! The All-Blades. Does it make him some sort of a magician?? I mean, he probably learnt more than just blades. Will he go on an adventure? Will it be solo or will he meet companions?

He can meet any of your favourite characters this way lmao. (I didn't actually read Dungeon Meshi but from what I've seen I have a feeling he would like Laios or Senshi. AND HE WOULD LOVE THE GIRLS FROM WHA OMG, give him to Olruggio for shits and giggles (he will cry at some point)).

Will he try to get into some academy, because here he doesn't have to worry about someone discovering his identity, since no one even knows who he is? Maybe he will get picked up by some old guy who sees potential in him (and oh, wouldn't that hit him hard).

Or actually maybe his ass will just find an inn and work there for a living, cooking mysterious dishes and writing books (he will still occasionally go out on missions from the board in the eating area tho, that's not something he can stop easily).

Let's get Magical

- Essence is short for “Breath Essence”. She prefers to translate her name rather than to allow anyone to know what it actually is. She is more militant than her mother and generally has a more youthful personality.

- Ducra prefers to tell people the phonetics of her name but never the meaning. Her precognition is clearer and she is generally the more level-headed and capable of conniving.

- Essence and Ducra don’t have true immortality due to rejecting the Spirit of the Well of Sins. Instead they take turns giving birth to one another each time they die.

- While the League’s base is located in the western end of the Himalayas, the Acres of All are located in eastern Tibet. Essence, Ducra, and the Untitled are all Tibetan. (Or more accurately, they’re so old they come from a proto-Tibetan culture.)

- Jason spent a few weeks with the All-Caste during his Lost Days world training tour. Ostensibly to learn meditation and how to protect his mind against outside influence, but in actuality Ducra also wanted to offer Jason the All-Blades. (Talia didn’t know until after Jason had already done the deal.)

- Despite being The Good Guys, the All-Caste are technically still users of black magic. Jason wasn’t really given the All-Blades so much as he was forged. They are a manifestation of his soul. Typically, the only thing left of the ritual’s subject is the blade. That Jason is alive to use, and even mutate the number and shape of the All-Blades is an anomaly. (Ducra foresaw this -among other events- which is why she made the offer in the first place.)

- Having become a spiritual weapon, if Jason ever dies for real he will almost certainly neither go to hell nor heaven. The condition that the All-Blades can only be drawn in the presence of evil is something Jason himself asked for. His magic glowing tattoo is a curse meant to allow him a modicum of agency even if he loses everything else.

- After Jason emerged from his meditation in the caves, Essence took him on a day out to do some mounted shooting. This is how Jason learns to ride a horse. Despite some members of the All-Caste feeling uneasy about involving him, for a variety reasons both political and ethical, Jason’s time with the All-Caste ends on a high note.

- The Untitled thrive in a miserable psychic environment like plants, and are basically energy vampires. Although they have a craving for human flesh (and are even able to learn information based on the organ consumed), cannibalism isn’t necessary for them.

- The treaty between the All-Caste and Untitled determined that the League of Assassins would protect the Well of Sins as a sort of neutral third party, and as long as neither the All-Caste nor Untitled ‘significantly interfered with mortal matters’ they would not go to war again. Both the All-Caste and the Untitled pushed the boundaries of this treaty over time though.
