So back to that YouTube comments section.  Someone who was arguing in favor of trans people started to go to places that had already made the original commenter uncomfortable and were making me uncomfortable as well.  So I make a response saying, paraphrased: “if you actually care about trans people, you might not want to keep doing this.”

His response, with name removed:

“I would have really appreciated if you had delayed intervening for a few more comments. We where getting somewhere. I'm sure the tone and angle of the conversation were not pleasant to you, and had I been you I would have blocked us a long time ago. It's not too late. This conversation is not meant for you, I'm sorry it's happening under your comment.“

It’s weird he said “your comment” because the language seems to be replying to me, but I wasn’t the original commenter.  Still, the meaning seems perfectly clear:

Why don’t you trans people stay out of this?  I’m busy helping you and here you are inconveniencing me by being the victims of harsh circumstances I have pointed out.
