我愛羅
All the Past Kages working together for the first time
Lol with most of the main characters in Naruto being literal children who are compelled to engage with and uphold the horrors of the adult world in the spirit of nationalism and profit, you probably see some really ridiculous (see: deeply sad) moments of age restriction.
Gaara, trying to book a hotel for his upcoming Kage meeting: Here is my ID, and I'd like to pay cash please.
The hotel clerk, fumbling and mortified: .......Lord Kazekage....I'm so sorry to say this but....but our policy...you see, it's just that our hotel only permits individuals who are 18 or older...to...to book a room. Do -I'm so sorry - do you have an a...an adult with you?
Gaara: I literally led a war.

Info:
In Kishimoto-sensei’s world, a character’s hobby is never just a pastime; it is a manifestation of their repressed soul. In the Prime Universe, Gaara cultivates cacti—stoic, prickly plants that survive on nothing in the harshest environments, much like his own lonely heart.
In the Road to Ninja universe that I've created, the irony is sharpened. The "Crimson Tyrant," who demands total submission from humans and views life as a transactional game of power, harbors a secret that would shatter his reputation of terror: He is a devotee of the feline.

🐈 The Tyrant’s Silence: The Philosophy of the Feline
In a world where everyone bows to Gaara out of fear or expectation, cats are the only creatures that do not recognize his "Divine Authority." To a man like the RTN Gaara, this is not an insult. It is a sanctuary.
Humans in Sunagakure are loud. They scream when he kills, they whisper when he passes, and they plot behind closed doors. But a cat? A cat simply exists. It demands nothing but warmth and the occasional meal. For a Jinchūriki whose mind is a constant battlefield shared with the abrasive, screaming ego of Shukaku, the silent, vibrating purr of a cat is the only frequency that can actually quiet the desert storm in his head.
He doesn't just "like" cats; he respects them. He sees himself in them, solitary predators who are often misunderstood, creatures that move with lethal grace and possess a sovereignty that no Kage can command.
🏠 The Secret Sanctuary
Behind the heavy, sand-sealed doors of the Kazekage’s private residence a place where even Temari and Kankurō are rarely invited, the "Crimson Tyrant" vanishes.
The floor isn't covered in maps of conquest, but in soft rugs. The air doesn't smell of blood, but of dried fish and cedar. This is Gaara’s true throne room. While the village fears the "Sand Shield" that kills assassins without Gaara lifting a finger, that same sand is used domestically to create warm, elevated perches and to gently roll toy balls across the floor for his companions.
🟠 The Favorite: Frumpkin
Every tyrant has a confidant. For Gaara, it is Frumpkin, a large, spotted ginger tomcat he rescued from the Sunagakure slums. Frumpkin is the only being in Suna who has ever "dismissed" Gaara. The first time they met, Gaara reached out a hand stained with the chakra of a fresh kill, and Frumpkin simply bit him, turned around, and fell asleep.
Gaara was fascinated. He didn't crush the animal; he admired the audacity. Now, Frumpkin is often found draped across Gaara’s shoulders like a living cowl of orange fur. When Gaara sits on his balcony overlooking the village he rules through fear, Frumpkin is there—a silent witness to the Tyrant’s private thoughts.
🌊 The Trust: Showing the Soft Spot to Umi
The moment Gaara allowed Umi Mikazuki into his private quarters was the moment he truly surrendered his soul to her. In the Naruto world, sharing a secret is more intimate than any physical touch.
Umi expected to find a torture chamber or a cold, empty cell reflecting his heart. Instead, she found the "Cat King."
Seeing the man who once told her to “kill for the sake of the thrill” sitting on a silk cushion with a ginger cat sleeping on his lap was the catalyst for Umi’s realization: Gaara isn't broken beyond repair; he is simply misaligned. "They don't ask me for protection," Gaara told her that night, his voice devoid of the theatrical coldness he used in the Council chambers. "And they don't fear the demon. To them, I am just a source of heat. It is the only time I feel... human."
🐾 The Calico Bond: Naya
Umi did not just accept this side of him; she joined it. She eventually adopted Naya, a small, energetic Calico kitten.
The dynamic between the cats mirrors the dynamic between the masters. Frumpkin (Gaara) is heavy, stoic, and watchful. Naya (Umi) is fluid, unpredictable, and brings a chaotic light into the room. Seeing the two cats play. The large ginger tom patiently enduring the kitten’s pounces became a metaphor for their relationship. It taught Gaara the "True Shield": that protecting something smaller and weaker than yourself doesn't diminish your power; it defines it.
⚔️ The Moral Line: The Only Unforgivable Sin
To the RTN Gaara, human life is cheap. He has killed for annoyances, for politics, and for sport. But this idea holds a powerful Kishimoto-style "Inner Law": He would never hurt an animal.
If an assassin were to harm a stray in Suna, Gaara wouldn't just kill them; he would make an example that would be whispered about for generations. This is his "Innate Direction" a shred of purity he kept hidden from his father, Rasa, and even from Shukaku. It is the one part of his heart that the desert couldn't dry out.
