Personal update:
I’m sick right now and I told my mother I was “too tired” to go to the doctor. She came over, took one look at me and drove me to their office, filled out the paperwork, and is now sitting with me in the waiting room.
I am miserable… 😩 but I am also spoiled. 👑
Also, I feel like this is exactly what Lloyd would have done to Princess before they were dating. He definitely would know her allergies and medications.

An update about the status of the upcoming chapter of TPAL:
So, I was planning on revising and editing today (Friday) and releasing the chapter this evening. However, there were unforeseen complications with that plan - I got a call this morning that a spot had opened up for me to do my skills exam for my license today. Of course I took the spot and tested my skills a week early to get it out of the way. I passed, woohoo! 🥳
Now I’m home and all I want to do is take a nap.
So that’s what I’m going to do. We’ll see if I’m up for editing when I wake up. If so, maybe I’ll post tonight. If not, we’ll aim for tomorrow night.
Editing is going really well. I’ve definitely got my writing mojo back, guys.

So, I have a job interview today. It’s my second round interview for a lab position.
I don’t know if anyone here still remembers my “tales from chemistry lab” story about the student who accidentally synthesized liquid TNT when I was covering an undergraduate lab session, but guess what? That’s where I’m interviewing today!
Needless to say, I think most of the faculty who were on the hiring committee remembered me. Anyways, in an hour or so I’m going to be talking to the Dean of Sciences and I don’t know if I want this topic to come up or not… 😂
