Bro needs to stop acting like the ship doesn't literally have over 400 fanfics on Ao3 (and gods know how many on Wattpad) and over 2.000 fanarts on Tumblr, Instagram, Twitter, etc.

Fucking greedy bitch, you're literally getting fed on a daily buffet for free in a golden spoon because Hyacinthus is the only boyfriend Apollo has (since y'all seem to ignore Adonis, Cyparissus, Admetus, Helenus, etc), while there are starved kids waiting for crumbs of Perseus x Andromeda fanfics (literally 29), Cadmus x Harmonia (11), and even worse for me, an Alectryon stan (10, 2 are mine, three are in Russian and and in 4 he's just a side character). 💀

Of course I’ve given Alectryon many references to Ares and his own myth design-wise, so I’ll list them

- first, his vulture—a bearded vulture, to be specific. Vultures are one of Ares’ sacred animals, and Alectryon uses his feathered companion to send messages.

- I’ve given him many things matching with Ares, including his war paint, his armor, and his sword as well. I like to think his sword is part of a set, and Ares has the other, as seen in his Hades II portrait. Also peep Ares’ sigil on his chest.

- rooster feathers. Lots of them. And his tail is, in fact, attached to his body. In my Hades interpretation, he’s already been turned into a rooster once before, but was given another chance to be human. Though he still has some rooster traits as a result. He’s still paranoid about the sun rising, no doubt

In Hades II, Alectryon—unlike all other mortals in these games—is not a shade. He’s a warrior, a young one at that, and to be alive during wartime makes him more interesting, yet alone fighting a battle meant for the Gods.

Alectryon can be found on the summit of Olympus, able to hold his own against Typhon’s children due to Ares’ favor. He will always appear if Melinoë has more than two boons of Ares that night. Similar to Artemis, Alectryon helps clear all enemies that encounter. Afterwards, he will offer Melinoë a choice of 2 nectar, 100 bones, or a rarity upgrade to one of Ares’ boons that night. He also has a chance to appear side-by-side with Athena, but will not offer anything.
