Nicolo, Vincent,  Armand and Donald

NICOLO- “Donald, Armand tells me that you haven’t even applied for college yet.  Son you have less than three months until the semester begins. If you don’t send in your application by the end of this week, you are going to miss the deadline.

DON- “I don’t think I want to go to school this year, dad. I thought maybe I would take a year off and go next year, or maybe just attend Oasis Springs Community College.”

NICOLO- “Son, we talked about this. You got a scholarship for Foxbury Institute.  You know what I had to do to get them to even consider you? Thank goodness I have a friend on the committee---

DON- “Who don’t you know, you have friends everywhere father.  How about you see if your friend can wait a year.”

NICOLO- “Donald, this is not acceptable. If you don’t get the application filled out by tomorrow and get it filed on time by Friday, I will put you to work immediately.  I will send you to Selvadorada for the entire summer.”

DON- “Wow that sounds like a vacation dad.”

NICOLO- “Trust me it will be NO vacation.  You will be working in the mines there, do you know how hot it gets in Selvadorada? Imagine being underground.”

DON- “Fine….fine I will get the application turned into Foxbury by Friday, don’t worry. But just so you know, this is for only two years.  I don’t plan on spending my entire life in school like Vincent has. I have dreams too you know!”

NICOLO- “Really, you have dreams Donald.  What kind of dreams do you have?”

DON- “You know Judith Landgraab?”

NICOLO- “Of course, Don, I know Judith, what does she have to do about your dreams?”

DON - “She is going to Del Sol Valley soon, and going to be in movies.  She said that I would do wonderful out there.  She said I had the looks and the natural abilities to be a star. She said she could get me some auditions.  Start doing commercials and ads, first, then make my way into TV spots. She said it wouldn’t take long and I could be a star too.”
