Most of these are informed by the RPs that I've been writing with my husband, and also overlap with his headcanons.

Chase - Achillean/MLM, not quite cis but he hasn't put much thought into that. He's good with he/him pronouns and is still exploring what else he might be comfortable with. - He always knew that he liked boys, ever since he was little. His first crushes were Aladdin and Hercules. The first time a girl said she liked him--1st grade, Valentine's Day--he cried. - Deacon was the first person he officially came out to, even though his whole family knew. - He was a theater kid, and this is how he met Simon, Ross, and Danielle. He and Simon briefly dated, being the only two out queer teens in town, before realizing they weren't compatible and deciding to be friends instead. - Practicing neo-pagan, worships Eros and Apollo. If he finds a cool feather it WILL go on his altar. - Near encyclopedic knowledge of Disney. The movies, the parks, the Broadway shows. He has Strong Opinions about the live-action remakes and direct-to-DVD sequels. - Diagnosed ADHD but not medicated. Also has anxiety, not diagnosed or medicated for that. Used to self-medicate with weed but has stopped. - Wrote his first single, "Write Our Story", after his first kiss in Still Waters. Went on to create a full album called StarGoth about his relationship that went viral, with songs based on each of the arcs: "Cat's Meow" (Toffee Break), "Villain Arc/Not Your Villain" (Beach Boys), "Fever Dream" (Sick Days), "Stop Being a Loser" (All That Glitters), "Boyfriend Hoodie" (Honor Among Thieves), "Requiem/Bad Moonlight" (Requiem of Blood and Moonlight), "Run Deep" and "Write Our Story" (Still Waters), "Cookieboo" (Greatus Hiatus), and of course the title track "StarGoth" (all of season 1 tbh).

Buddy/Nox/"Nova" in RPverse - AUTISM. Specifically the social anxiety variety. - Self-taught; despite impressions, he had no higher education because *gestures broadly at being a key* but read a LOT, so he knows a lot of obscure facts and trivia. - Immediately upon becoming human, started following Chase's gluten-free diet and learning to cook (and attempted to go into a printed cooking blog that's 70% the blogger's vacation in France for this purpose). The first thing he learned to bake was gluten-free chocolate cake. - Also immediately upon becoming human, got his GED. - Immediately upon getting his GED, bought an engagement ring for Chase and kept it hidden for months due to his doubts about being good enough. Proposed at the end of Chase's first tour. - Very good at helping Chase through his anxiety; terrible at dealing with his own. - Still calls Deacon "Freckles", but it's friendly banter. - Interested in fashion, thanks to Violet. Watches Say Yes to the Dress with her and Silver on occasion, and up cycles his own clothing. He has an Etsy shop to sell what he doesn't want to wear himself. - His favorite song from StarGoth is "Cat's Meow". His least favorite is "Cookieboo" and the fact that that's the one that got on the radio is a personal affront to him. - Currently living in a loft room above the Hollow's disused barn. Looking forward to moving into an apartment with Chase.

Deacon - Transman, and came out to Chase first. Since his dad is a doctor he went on puberty blockers so he has no need for top surgery and is in no hurry to get bottom surgery. - Has a book "club" with Silver. It's just the two of them going on dates in books. - Post-canon, took Bronze, Silver, and Rose with him to college. They video call with Chase, Violet, and Nox/Nova weekly. - Deacon and Silver alternate using Bronze and Rose to go into books. Deacon will admit that he is still partial to using Bronze, but sometimes Silver likes to switch up their roles. - Is working on his relationship with his parents, specifically his mom.
