Aindri and Asavari are friends, storytellers and artists from India. Finding themselves in a fortuitous soup of geographical proximity and mutual love for sequential storytelling - decided to join forces for CALA. The following projects explore a myriad of themes including immigration, politics, cats.
DANDELION POSTCARDS

This project is a mix of comic/illustration. I made this when a close friend of mine moved far away and wanted to send her something cryptic. I made a set of dandelions covered in glitter in the hope that distance will reveal the message to the receiver. What I hadn’t noticed was the mark making of the postmaster.
This postcard has travelled 4695 miles
