Throwaway because I care about the community and I'm just going to get banned for speaking up Tom, DefilerWyrm, admin of the Aeor is for Lovers server, is unapologetically transphobic and unsafe to be around. He constantly feels the need to tell everyone on the server how much he hates transmascs who haven't elected to get bottom surgery. And if you speak up about it or say anything, he'll attack you personally. And the mods don't do shit about it. They just try to placate everyone after and let him throw his little tantrums. One time he attacked someone cause they mentioned Frumpkin getting chunkier as Caleb healed because it was animal abuse. And he constantly says nasty things about art about how it's not his preference but its nice or whatever. But he always phrases it in a way that's super gross. Like I'm not going to post screenshots because it's against the server rules but every single day there's some new thing. Recently the Aeor is for Lovers rec list posted recs and one of them said 'Representation of a trans man who’s had the full package done instead of just existing as a cunt to get fucked by a cis man'." which is absolutely disgusting and we all know exactly who posted it. The fact that that got through to be posted at all is really gross but it happened right after he made a nasty comment about the same thing in the server. It's really obvious. Please keep yourselves safe, especially if you're transmasc or nonbinary or have a vagina since he seems to especially hate anyone that falls under those categories.

Well literally the day before he made this comment "I wonder if any of the existing recs will feature anything other than PIV" when the theme was pwp or whatever and literally the very next day the comment shows up.
When I first joined the server, they were neck deep in a huge discussion about which sorts of trans representation were allowed because Tom kept commenting on artists work saying things like "I'm glad it cuts off so I don't have to throw up" re genitalia. That post was deleted after the backlash but the fallout has a whole thread in the gen channels from forever ago that's still available to read through if you have a strong stomache. And the mods were like "Yes, the general approach here is to scroll past content that doesn’t suit you and to be respectful of other people and their preferences." (direct quote) which is like "yeah usually that's the rule except for Tom). Here's like... a direct link to that thread. You can read it yourself. And this happens all the time and god forbid you're a new user who doesn't know about it an accidentally tag him or mentioning bottom essek in his vicinity because he will publicly shame you for it. And all the mods were in there and spent so much time placating him instead of moderating him which like made it worse. The mods tended to make him worse 90% of the time cause they were all like... good friends outside of the server? But one left and he kicked another one over killing a spider. You can read all about that here btw in their bug sex channel or whatever. Or that time he described a lesbian sex scene from a fic by saying "it was surprisingly tolerable" (direct quote) Like you can act like I'm making this up (or lowkey threaten to sue me over a tumblr post I guess) but it's a real longstanding issue that's definitely breeching containment of the server itself. Seeing his comment on the rec list made me actually really sick to my stomach and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Ja anyway, discord servers are so funny to me, because  there will be one group of people discussing profound topics about life or art,  while in a different thread people just talk about some characters getting dicked down. Sometimes the same people.

Here it is. I said I’d play the violin as the doors closed, and Dr Kanies closed them as I was setting up to play.
Opened in 1968, the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, while celebrating its 50th year, closed its doors for the last time. I was a member of the final graduating class, receiving my bachelor of science in illustration, and while I’m not the best violinist (yes I know my grip is bad), felt the need to be the tiny and insignificant Nero of our generation and played my fiddle only moments after the acting dean walked out and locked the doors for the final time. I felt that, due to the enormity of the situation, the only fitting piece of music would be Clint Mansell’s piece from the soundtrack for the film The Fountain, “Death is the Road to Awe”. It’s a small way to mourn the stomping grounds to which I’ll never be able to return, and the only thing that will remain of this historic institution is the legacy which myself and the final members of my graduation class will carry. (I know I’m off key and out of time at many points, I just started learning the violin earlier this year. I also couldn’t hear the music over my violin at the start, and couldn’t hear my violin over the music at the end)
