Currently sitting on my back porch watching this crazy storm. This porch is my safe place. This place holds my thoughts.. good or bad. This porch has seen tears, heard cries.. as well as the birth of some of my poetry.

Im feeling such an overwhelming feeling of gratitude at the moment. Im always extremely grateful, but today Im sitting with this feeling.

4-5 weeks ago I was sooo unhappy with work. Everyday felt more and more draining. One day I was so fed up I decided to take action to get out of my current environment.

Without making this story longer than it needs to be..

Thursday is my last day at my current job. I’ve been working an audio tech role at a University…. Looks good on my resume, but Im thankful to be leaving.

Starting my new job next Monday🙏🏽 And got notified that several of my classes transfered over to my new school.. Im getting about 16K knocked off of tuition which is crazy to me.

Anyways, Happy Tuesday. Just wanted to share good news.
