And lo, I have witnessed the rise and fall of empires. The citizenry once joyous, wild in the youth of a strange new world of abundance fit to suit any need, now gather in trembling pockets of quiet safety, wary, and rightfully so, of any footfalls that aren't their own. The once great towers of community all but rubble, the closest approximation that the people have is little more than models built of scraps left in the aftermath of the iron fist, itself now barely more than rusted remains in a world that has since moved on.
