This is where the fun begins...

~ We all know she would so sneak kisses whenever Anakin and Obi Wan were turned away

~ Definitely making kissing bets

- “20 kisses that I can pin you in 8 seconds flat”

~ Ahsoka not wanting to hurt you ever so she is really hesitant to fight you during Padawan training

~ Whenever you two were split off from your master’s you would hold hands while killing off droids.

~ Her teasing you a whole lot when she notices you staring at her longer than you should be.  

- “See something you like Y/n?”

~ Both of you becoming protective of one another quickly

~ Teaming up against Anakin when he wants to make a stupid move when in a battle

~ Always having each other’s backs

~ You defending Ahsoka when she is being mistreated or downgraded

~ Sneaking to one another’s rooms to cuddle with each other

~ Almost being caught a whole bunch because Anakin doesn’t understand what the concept of knocking is

~ Almost always do you try to be with her whenever groups are broken up

- “How about Ahsoka and I go west, we’ll cover more ground that way”

~ Lots of sarcastic and sassy remarks to one another

~ Plenty of hugs from behind whenever you two are alone on ships with Anakin

~ You steal her lightsaber just to mess with her after it was stolen once by that smuggler

- “Y/n you scared the living force out of me, don’t do that!”

~ Being there for her when you find her after her battle with Vader

She's here everyone! I've waited a whole year for this!! I cried at the announcement and I'm crying now 💫❤️

Ahsoka did not know what Kix said to her Master to make him turn up to the medical bay in six minutes looking like he had been running a marathon across the base, but she did know that she was so giving the man one of her secret bars of chocolate.

Master Anakin looked winded as he stalked up to her bedside while Master Obi-Wan looked tired and long suffering. Ahsoka couldn’t help but think that was his default expression when dealing with Master Anakin. Or with anyone really.

“Ahsoka! Are you okay?!” Master Anakin was all but shouting in her ears and owww. Didn’t Master Obi-Wan teach his Padawan volume control? And she is so not giving Kix that chocolate bar anymore. Whatever he said or implied must have really worried her Master. And a worried Master Anakin was a pain to deal with.

“I’m fine Master. I need to talk to you and Master Obi-Wan though. Now.” She crossed her arms over her chest and raised her chin and tried to look firm and serious like how Padme taught her to do. Judging by their expressions, it didn’t work. Master Obi-Wan just looked tired and his shoulders seem to sink slightly and her Master honestly looked like a youngling with his hand in the cookie jar.

Why were they so afraid to talk to her? What has made them so afraid?

“Ahsoka-…."Master Obi-Wan started, looking at Master Anakin.

"No. I deserve to know. I need to know. This…” She waved her hand and gestured to the two masters. “Whatever you are keeping from me and are not saying about that sith is putting myself and everyone in danger! How can I protect myself or our men when I don’t know what I am fighting? We have files on Ventress. We have files on Grievous and Dooku. Hell we have a file on Cade freaking Bane but there is nothing on Serenus!”

Okay, Ahsoka may be shouting (quite loudly) right now but honestly, it is completely well founded. And a long time coming.

Glaring at her two Masters, Ahsoka continued to speak. “I know nothing Masters. You have told me nothing. All I know is that he is technically my great grandmaster and that he is now a Sith. I don’t know what forms he prefers in battles. What his strengths are. What to freaking expect when we are attacked by him! The Council has his name blacklisted for Forcesake!”

Ahsoka looked hard at her Masters, her eyes glaring. “What would happen if he attacked my men and I and neither of you were there?” She asked quietly.

 “I would not know what to do Masters. I would not be able to defend myself or my men. Because I know nothing about this man.” She raised her voice slightly. “The only thing I really I know is he is obsessed with the two of you and Master Feemor. And I only know that because the other Padawans were talking behind Na'eemah’s back where we could hear. Please Masters. I begging you. Tell me. Who is Serenus to you? And why haven’t you told me how to defend himself against him?”

Her voice may have been pleading at the end and may have broken slightly as she spoke, but the way Obi-Wan replied to her had Ahsoka’s heart breaking.

“We… We are sorry Ahsoka. We had not intended for this to go on for so long.” The older Master sighed and with a wave of his hand, Obi-Wan created a sound barrier around the three of them with the Force. Whatever they were about to say to her, Ahsoka quickly realised, was either confidential or really private. Or both.

She watched her Master and grandmaster share a look before master Anakin took over. “You know how Serenus is…was once Qui-Gon Jinn correct?” She nodded. “Well Qui-Gon was the one who found me. And the one who trained Obi-Wan. He… Well” Ahsoka watched as her Master sent Master Obi-Wan a desperate look. Normally these looks are amusing but right now, right now they were anything but.

“Why don’t we start from the start?” Master Obi-Wan suggested softly, pulling up one of the chairs and sitting down beside her.

“Just over twelve years ago now, the Trade Federation set up an illegal blockade around Naboo. After months of trying to get it taken down in the Senate, the then Chancellor had organised for myself and… And for Jinn to negotiate between the two. I was a senior Padawan at the time.” Master Obi-Wan stroked his beard and sighed before continuing.

“We boarded the Trade Federation ship and within half an hour were almost gassed, shot at by Destroyers, had our ship and crew blown up and found an invasion army on the ship.”

He stated each of these as if it was normal for that stuff to happen on a mission. No wonder Master Obi-Wan wasn’t fazed by the war, if that was what she had to go through when she was a senior Padawan then she would be unfazed by everything too.

“We managed to get down to the surface and through a series of somewhat interesting events met Jar Jar Binks, travel across to the other side of Naboo by going under it, ran into Padme and decided it would be best to get the Queen off planet and to the Senate to ask for help. Things did not go as plan and we ended up with a leaking hyperdrive. I saw that Tatooine was in a close distance and made the choice to take us there”

Master Obi-Wan looked over at Master Anakin. Her Masters face was pinch and looked, almost angry was the best was to put it. Or maybe painful. Honestly his face looked nearly the same as it did when he had food poisoning as his stomach was cramping really bad.

Master Obi-Wan took a deep and low breath before continuing. “I stayed on the ship to repair what I could while Jinn left to find a hyperdrive. I don’t know exactly what happened during that time but I do know that he met Anakin here working in a junk shop as a slave.” Ahsoka had to look down as her Master flinched at the mention of him being a slave.

“The junk shop owner owned Anakin and also had the hyperdrive that we needed. For some Force only knows reason, Jinn thought it would be good to race a nine-year-old boy in a pod race while betting the ship and the occupants on it. We were all very lucky that Anakin was such a talented racer that managed to win. In winning the race, he had also won his freedom.” Master Obi-Wan put his hand gently on Anakin’s shoulder. Her Master leaned in slightly to the touch before he took over speaking.

“Qui-…Jinn managed to free me. But not my mum. We sold the pod and gave her the money. Jinn said he would ensure I would be safe with the Jedi” he gave a shrug. “We were on the way back to the ship when we were attacked by Darth Maul. We barely managed to get away with our lives. I met Obi-Wan here not minutes later.” He gave a smile at Obi-Wan but his face was still looking cramped like.

“We fixed up the hyperdrive and arrived not two days later at Coruscant. I had my first viewing of a world away from the desert. That was one hell of an experience.” Her Master shook his head and continued. “I was taken before the Council and tested. I passed but Jinn insisted that I was the ‘Chosen One’ ” he said the words with such distain. Ahsoka couldn’t help but squirm at how they felt in the Force around them. Master Obi-Wan gave Master Anakin a small pointed look and the feeling disappeared behind her Masters shields. “And then he renounced Obi-Wan to train me.”

“Anakin! We don’t need to go into that!” Obi-Wan was quick to protest. “We’re not getting anywhere. Long story short; the Council said that they would not train Anakin, gave Jinn a verbal lashing for being rude to ones Padawan when the Padawan is in the room (and yes Anakin I can be a little angry about it too), the senate votes not to do anything on the Naboo invasion so the Queen called a vote of no confidence, Jinn, Anakin and I went back with the Queen to Naboo to help protect her and investigate Maul and see if he was after the Queen (turns out he was after us),big battle happened, learned the hard way to be specific when giving orders to Anakin and that Darth Maul was an absolute dick.”

Wow, that was a lot to take in. Ahsoka blinked slowly.

Master Obi-Wan took a deep breath and released it slowly. “Maul fraught Jinn and I. He managed to strike down Jinn before I cut him in half. I…I saved Jinn’s life.” The older master looked so tired saying those words. “I poured nearly the whole of my body’s energy into him. I... I think that was what triggered the Lifebond. My willingness to give him everything.”

Neither of her Masters looked at each other as Master Obi-Wan continued. “He lived. And Anakin was allowed to be trained. But within six months of Naboo, he packed up and leave. He butted heads with the Council too many times and decided enough was enough. Dooku had left around five or so years before Naboo and was more than happy to have his former Padawan come and stay with him.”

Anakin ran a hand over his face and took over from his Master. “Contact with him was…spotty at best. Eventually it stopped all together. We don’t know if he was alive or just gone until he turned up on the field killing Jedi and clones. We haven’t... We haven’t talked about this with you Ahsoka because we honestly don’t know what we should say or do. This is not the man we once knew. We don’t know if he is being controlled or if it is his own will.”

Master Anakin looked at her so desperately, so heartbroken that she could not help but reach out and grab his hand. She grabbed Master Obi-Wan’s while she did so.

“You need to tell me these things. I need to know Masters. I don’t want to be left in the dark and have this information used against me. I know…I know it must be hard but please Masters. Tell me how to defend myself if I do have to fight him. Tell me how I can protect my men. Protect you.” She pleaded at them, looking at both of their stricken faces.

“Either he is a victim or he is a villain won’t matter if he kills us. He is a Sith. And he is hurting our family. We can’t let that happen. Not anymore.” She continued, voice becoming more firm.

It would destroy these two in the end, Ahsoka realised. When they all find out if Serenus is truly a victim or if he is a villain. It’s destroying them now, watching a man they cared for deeply kill and hurt others.

She vowels here and now that she will destroy Serenus before he hurts her family again. She won’t let it happen. Not again.
