The core of Rebels is Spectre Squad. I love the found family troupe and these six (and extended family) truly mean the world to me. Their dynamics are tested and grow so much during the show, but their bond is so strong that not even death can separate them. I love each individual Spectre for their personal stories and growth, and I can’t think of a single dynamic within them that I don’t enjoy watching on my screen. While the main momentum in The Clone Wars is the plot of the war itself, I feel like Rebels has always been about their characters first and foremost. And it shows. This gifset doesn’t even begin to encapsulate everything I love about them, but it’s a start.
