i never once doubted chan, but today was the day when i realized perhaps just how much weight and sincerity his words actually carry whenever he says "you're not alone", "stray kids are always by your side" and "whenever you're having a hard time, come to stray kids".
if i happen to physically stand in front of his human flesh at some time in the unpredictable future, i would really want to just express my deepest gratitude to him. there were many big and bigger things i'll always be thankful for.. but what i'd like to thank for might be the smallest thing stray kids have given me... which is that little hope that things may get better, that faint knowing that there's a chance that things could get better. this includes my own hardships, the pain in the world as it is today, and the whole of humanity and prospects for what it could possibly become.
it's truly the littlest of thing - still a dim tiny light - yet i already feel so powerful holding it with these two shaky hands of mine. and as long as i'm aware of it, i can do such wonderful things! stray kids pointed me at the existence of this light, now it's my job and responsibility to not forget it. not only that, but to grow and kindle the light so it becomes bigger and bigger and bigger, and then it cannot be contained and is ready to spill out of me onto other people. to spill out onto those that need the light the most - just how the light in stray kids spilled out of them and left its traces in my being. the ripple effect...
forever unimaginably grateful to experience this earth at the same time stray kids are.
