"I don't want to hurt you..." "You won't." Mickey and Toby have quickly become one of our favorite heart-breakingly sweet pairings. Toby struggled a lot growing up due to his mother abandoning him and his father acting like he was unwanted, on top of his fire magic that often slipped out of his control. Constantly he felt like he was struggling just to survive...but he always had Mickey. His best friend that he fell in love with as they got older; no matter what Toby was going through, Mickey was there. And that's how we ended up with a sweet scene between the two of them at their Senior Prom. Toby feared hurting his best friend, scaring her away or causing her pain.
