THEY ARE SO CUTE DUDE I CANT BELIEVE I DIDNT SEE IT BEFORE I think I struggled to write Starbee before because it has a reputation for being “the healthy ship” but if you psychoanalyze the fuck outta these two chuds and push em around just the right amount you will realize they both potentially have disorders that could click together like puzzle pieces with mismatched pictures. Also they’re stuck. You can’t remove em without breaking something. ITS SO GOOD. ES STARBEE SPECIFICALLY IS A RECIPE FOR DISASTER DUDE….

Like they mix perfectly. They’re very different and dysfunctional but its keeping them both alive. Itsos good. Ive never seen this level of potential for codependency before. There’s just the rught amount of room to give them surprising moments and the right amount of parallels and just the right amount of mutual damage and also the contrast between these two. They just WORK. They’re not fixing each other but they make each other WORK. I LIKE THAT. SOOO GOOD.

I hope everyone gets more es starbee pilled NOW!!!!!!!! See them for what they could be… go go go

So Ghostbug resembles Megatron here, and you said in a previous post that young Cybertronians tend to subconsciously start to look like the stable adult in their lives?

Does this mean that in the shattered glass au, Megatron was a stable presence in Ghostbug's life?

I don’t really decide my interests or hyper fixations, just following what my heart desires! And apparently it’s transformers. Cool!

Also a little deeper question here and feel free to ignore me, but would you say drawing your visceral illustrations and poetry like dialogue has been very cathartic? I’ve been wanting to feel more confident and comfortable posting art and fanfiction around heavier topics (such as sa) and your art is one of my inspirations to pursue such. I’ve always been scared of how people would react to me addressing such with my creativity, so, if I may ask, how do you combat any anxieties you may have around people judging your work? (Sorry if that’s all too personal please do ignore me if you’re not down to answer!)

I’ll answer the bigger question first since that’s more fun!! But yes, it’s super cathartic & fun!

For me it’s easy to share my work without worry because I like that what I create can be hated. That means it meant something, gets people to think. I know my intentions, I don’t care if my aim doesn’t land with others the way I wanted, I just care that it lands at all. People will interpret things differently because they are different, it may strike them differently, but the point in creating will always be to affect others! You have to be provocative to exist!

When you open yourself up to be seen, being judged is inevitable. That’s just how things go, you know? (KOFF KOFF indie animation COUGHHH)

But I’d rather that than never having been seen at all, plus, the good outweighs the bad! I’ve received much much more positive comments than I have negative ones… theres so much more kindness in the world than you think…. PLUSYou never know how comforting it can be to someone! :-D

Idk if I’m making any sense, but that’s what I thought when I share things! I’m not sure if that answers your question because I do not feel that anxious about sharing my work… But I hope it helps regardless! Also I just love to ramble. Say say say things! I’ve grown tired of staying quiet! This mans got things to say!

And as for the fanfic question… unfortunstely everytime I try to write a fanfic it turns out like this so long time til I can create anything even remotely comprehensible sorry 😭😭😭😭

Thank you, I’m really really glad to hear this!!! I do purposefully try to be very mindful when presenting characters that are beloved as a more negative version of themselves, especially since Megatron always had such a shakey reputation in the fandom due his many many iterations >_<“ I never want to come across as preachy or pushy with my interpretation of Megs, and I do worry sometimes that despite not tagging him often in my works that it would still affect people’s views on him too intensely <//3

I have very different things that I enjoy and by extension different topics I want to explore as opposed to the larger fandom, but I’d never want my work to disrupt other people’s fun! It’s nice to know that I’m not overstepping anything, so I don’t take this weirdly at all, I actually appreciate it quite a bit! It’s also just fun to discuss characters as the storytelling tools they are… I don’t get to do that often LOL

I've been listening to both the Breakbee and the solo Bumblebee playlists almost every day since I found them, and it's doing irreparable damage to my brain <3
