aggravaine du bois? more like lazy plot device
traitors stop infiltrating the court challenge
ok but why’d Aggravaine call Gwaine ‘Sir Gawain’ in ‘The Secret Sharer’
It’s making me think that Aggravaine knew more about Gwaine’s background (as a noble) and was using that to blackmail him in a sense
It’d totally be up Aggravaine’s alley to dig up dirt on all of Arthur’s inner circle 👀
(Also reminds me of Dragoon’s taunt to Gwaine in ‘A Servant of Two Masters’ that got him mad immediately)
one day ill figure out what hair color i want for him <3

I got a lot of questions about Aggravaine after I put up the Leonard and Aggravaine comic strip, and I totally forgot to post this video of him. Here he is!! He's a mystery snail about the size of a golf ball, a little over a year old, his favorite activities are putting his face above the water and uprooting my plants, and his favorite foods are bananas and tums.
and looks like Aggravaine off of Merlin survived too and is causing shit for everyone again like what is even his problem

a. This is a very difficult question to answer. There is no real baddies or antagonists per say in the story. The Orkney brothers are both the heroes and villains in this story. If I had to make a list of the worst brothers I would pick Aggravaine and Mordred for the top of the list, then Gawain would come, and at the very bottom would be Gaheris and Gareth. Although I do not see any of them as real bad guys. They are pulled to each other and can do wonders together, but when they are pulled apart they fight restlessly. They have this love/hate relation between each other that both make them great and destroy them. Which leads me to b.
b. In this story, Camelot falls because of the implosion of the Orkney brothers unit. They don't/cannot survive the death of Morgause. It turns them against each other by bringing out unresolved issues that have been left brewing for too long. In their battle, they use Camelot's flaw (i.e. in this story the Lancelot/Guinevere affair) to destroy each other and by doing so bring the fall of the kingdom.
