Why aren't you answering my texts.

2011 is coming to an end and do you guys know what that means? I've known you two for almost five years. Five years of complete insanity. Laughing fits lasting until early morning hours, inside jokes that ultimately cause us to disrupt every class we have together, long discussions around Kadi's table at four in the morning, accompanied by coffee and/or pizza. Crazy weekends at Ashlyn's dads, where we spend a lot of time stalking celebrity look a likes in the mall and searching for exact replicas of DC glasses in a million different stores. Teasing each other endlessly, whether that's by bringing up Pledge or attacking each others personal belongings or picking on each other's height. Rants, that seem to go on and on, about the people we just really can not stand. Planning out our future together, making sure we go to schools that our at least an hour away from each other so we can get an apartment right in the middle. Our Senior road trip plans. That silly little notebook we keep all of our notes in. These memories and plans and notebooks have made the five years that I've known you guys the best years of my short life, to be completely honest. 

I couldn't ask for better friends and I'm still amazed that I lucked out and found the two people, in the crowd of idiotic sixth graders, that I have so much in common with. It's actually really mind blowing, if you think about it. You two have really done so much more for me then you know. I have no clue where I would be if I didn't have you guys there to just unload everything on. I feel bad because I don't think I've done enough to show you guys how much I do appreciate you and how much I appreciate you listening to my rants about fighting with my mom or my sister or any other screwed up part of my life. I always end up feeling twenty times better when I'm done talking to either of you. Ashlyn has her witty, sarcastic remarks that I pretend to hate but actually make me laugh so hard and Kadi has her comforting, sometimes strange but still nice, methods of making anyone smile. 

I tease you guys endlessly about everything and I call you 'weird' and 'strange' and 'psycho' but you're my best friends and you've been right along side me for five years. To sum it all up, I love you two and even if in ten years, by some slim chance, we lose touch, you'll still be a vital part of my memories and I don't think any body I meet along the way will ever understand me the way you two do. So, yeah, there you have it. I'm crap at this sentimental stuff and maybe I just made a fool out of myself but I just wanted to let you know. You've made this year and all the years I've known you fantastic and fun and I won't forget that.
