☆Healing!Dex who used to kill birds at the feeders out of boredom; but his North Star sets up bird feeders. So now Dex shoots non-lethal pebbles at squirrels, chipmunks, ect. who try to steal their birds' feed.
☆Healing!Dex who used to kill kittens to feel big and powerful; but his North Star fosters kittens. So now he sits stone-still, blinking uncertainly as several foster kittens crawl into his lap, purring up a storm.
☆Healing!Dex who never used to care about nature; now he visits the community garden with his North Star. He finds satisfaction working with his hands, and gardening is a pleasantly imprecise hobby. He is able to truly relax and be present with his fingers digging in the soil.
☆Healing!Dex who used to bottle his rage; now him and his North Star visit a rage room every couple of months. Dex gets an outlet for his anger, as well as a chance to show off his destructive abilities in a safe space. Him and his North Star share a primal scream, both walk away feeling much lighter.
☆Healing!Dex who used to avoid consuming dark content; afraid it would encourage the worst parts of him...Now he listens to dark, angry, violent songs after his North Star suggested using music as an outlet. These songs and artists remind him that his intense feelings/intrusive thoughts aren't that different from what a lot of people are feeling inside. Macabre music brings him comfort.
☆Healing!Dex who loves his North Star's art, whatever the medium; especially the dark, emotional, personal works they feel too afraid to share with the rest of world. But Dex loves how they can always find beauty in the dark. It reminds him that the darkness in his heart could never snuff out the shining light of his North Star's love.
