You know what's really sad about afpe? This shows how having discourse blogs and nothing else really isn't good for you if you're exposed to it for too long. Discourse involves dealing with a ton b.s. from lots of toxic cunts who don't wish to learn. It's easy to become as hateful as they are. It's why I take breaks every now and then for my mental and emotional health.
Yeah, breaks are very important, especially when dealing with this kind of nonsense. Also why I like to post random cute animals and scenery, because it’s nice to have that interspersed in the drama.

I really hope but the fact I couldn’t reblog the post this was on makes me think she isn’t completely gone because I know for a fact that I was blocked because I dared to disagree while being respectful.

I feel like she had an abusive bible thumping dad like I did, and admittedly I did have a christian hating phase... but nothing to this degree. In fact I quickly realized my quarrel was with Christians and not Christ, I mean even historians can agree a man named Jesus who preached peace existed, and all he wanted was people to stop killing and being dicks to each other. Unfortunately he died and his followers... went cray cray with the rest of the book... but unfortunately it’s just human nature to kill each other. I mean the USSR is a good example of a godless people causing mass chaos. So saying christians are shit is unfair, humanity as a whole has been very disappointing. Please observe AFPE for further examples.
And while the atheist ™ likes to think religion and facts/science are polar opposites, it’s only because they’re completely ignorant of the FACT that a lot of our scientists past/present are men of faith. In fact I’d argue a lot of today’s Christians believe that science is our way of understanding god’s grand design. And while I’m not a huge fan of Islam I do recognize their importance in science medicine and mathematics, I just ask for reform... for them and Christians...
So really, people need to get rid of this image of bible thumping god fearing queer beating bigots that most Christians just aren’t. I should know, my bisexual mom and her wife are major Christians aaaand it would be super awkward if they kicked me out for being a gay.
Anyway AFPE or atheism-populism-egalitarianism ( her knew acronym is APE, quite apt ) is a bad example of what an atheist is, just like how... idk... Bush is a bad example of a Christian.
