Me, and every other woman who had tits and weren’t completely flat chested by the age of 16:Â

anti-theists really ain’t different from the fundamental Christians who constantly badger other people to convert.

The issue with saying pornography isn’t artistic, political, religious, or expressing an idea is that
1. not all pornography is filmed. Some of it is written, drawn, modeled, etc. So when you say “pornography isn’t artistic/religious/expressing an idea” it’s basically saying that something that is written isn’t artistic, expressing an idea, or religious.
2. It’s very easy to say that anything isn’t artistic, religious or expressing an idea when you don’t see it. I could easily say that anything created by [anyone or anything I don’t like] isn’t expressing an idea, artistic, religious, etc. You have people who think certain drawn images don’t count as artistic, people who think certain books don’t count as writing, etc. all because of an idea based on whether or not they personally enjoy it or it meets their standards for religious, artistic, political, etc. and therefore isn’t protected speech or under the first amendment.Â
The issue with this is that it throws just about any creative person who has opposition wouldn’t have anything they create protected because any random person could say “This isn’t freedom of speech/artistic/political/religious/etc.”Â
3. Just because the porn industry has issues doesn’t mean you have to throw everyone in the same pot and under the bus. Believe it or not, some people actually put effort into the porn they make and no one can say whether it does or doesn’t count as political, artistic, religious, etc. except for the person who created it.
Some of my RL friends asked why I don’t care about what ships, fiction, etc. people have or download onto their computer regardless of whether it is some weird ass shit is because honest to god, I am too tired to care.Â
I’m too exhausted to care whether or not someone likes hyperinflated balls and tits.Â
I’m too exhausted to care whether someone faps to Sailor Moon porn.Â
I am too exhausted care whether someone has some weird fetish I think is abhorrent or disgusting.Â
It’s funny really because I used to care...Â
I used to think that what someone fapped or what weird hentai someone collected as a sign to stay away from them and that they were a bad person.Â
I used to think I should tear into people for liking certain things.
But between growing up, getting abused by people who had “good” tastes in fiction (I.e non-problematic or non-gross), seeing abuse in people who constantly cared about this type of thing and tore into or tore down other people who did, rallying behind people who called out others for having problematic tastes in fiction only to see that those very same people who called out others were abusers and predators themselves, etc.Â
I lost the ability to care. It’s nothing but pure apathy at this point.
I really honest to god don’t care anymore. Like I just... I just don’t care anymore.Â
It’s draining... It is emotionally exhausting... It’s so easy to walk away, close the tab, go watch some cat videos, etc. as opposed to scrolling through morbid fantasy or bile fascination with something that makes me feel gross or uncomfortable. I don’t know whether it’s sad and heartbreaking or a melancholic relief but
I honest to god don’t have it in me to care. I don’t care if someone has a weird ass kink. I don’t care if someone has a gross fetish. I don’t care anymore.Â
As long as they aren’t out there hurting actual people, endangering themselves and others, committing illegal activities, etc. I just
really don’t care. It just ain’t in me anymore.
Relationship advice that people never seem to get
Because I constantly see terrible ass relationship advice on places like /r/relationships, here is some relationship advice that people overlook constantly and then wonder why their marriage or relationship is failing
1. Marriage is a partnership. It doesn’t matter who makes more money, who plans everything, etc. It is a partnership. You are not two roommates who just share a house and maybe raise a kid together. You are husband and wife. Yes, you are still your own individual person but for the love of god communicate.Â
Don’t plan huge and expensive trips without one partner and then just tell them that you’re leaving. Don’t treat your partner like they’re helpless or some type of inconvenience that needs to be planned around.Â
For the love of god don’t pull the “I arrange/do everything therefor you have no right or reason to be upset with me when I did this without informing or telling you.”Â
You aren’t just two roommates who share a house. Actually, consider how your actions might make your partner feel
Yeah you may think arranging a babysitter/childcare/pet care without your partner’s input while you run off on vacation or to a party or whatever for a while may be doing your partner a favor and giving them a break, but it can actually make them feel like they’re treated as helpless or make them feel like you can’t trust them to watch kids or pets.
2. Quit it with the “just get over it” nonsense. If your partner is angry, jealous, hurt, upset, etc. telling them to basically “just get over it” is the worst way to handle the situation. You’re basically invalidating someone’s feelings. Talk about it. If your partner is upset that you took a huge job promotion without informing them, instead of telling them to just get over it because you make more money now and can do what you want with your life, try to talk to them about why they are upset.
Yes, once again, you are still your own person, however, once you enter a marriage you are basically living a life with another person. Believe it or not, yes, while you are still your own person and do not have to be joined at the hip to your partner, your actions and choices you make in your life can still impact your partner.
Your promotion could mean that you work more hours, spend less time at home, etc. all of which affect your partner and change the dynamic of your relationship. Sure you’re making more money, which is good for you but could have a negative impact on your partner. You can be your own person while still considering your partner, especially in a marriage or long-term relationship.Â
You are not just two roommates who share a house.Â
3. I swear to god y’all need to stop with the whole “I won’t apologize for this until they apologize for that” or “I won’t do this until they do that”. Not only is it incredibly childish and immature your partner is not a mind reader. If you want them to apologize for something, or do something for you, tell them. No one can read your mind.
Feeling unappreciated and want them to arrange a date night? Tell them.
Having celebrated your birthday in a while and want them to arrange something for you? Tell them
They said something that hurt your feelings? Tell them.Â
Tell them
Tell them
Tell them
Whatever it is tell them.
Things will only get worse and they will literally not get better if you sit around and wait for your partner to realize that you are upset or want something done for you if you don’t open ya mouth and say it. It is obnoxiously immature, petty, and childish when you sit around and say “I won’t apologize for upsetting my partner until they apologize for doing something to me.” or “I won’t arrange any more date nights until they arrange them for me.”Â
Be the bigger person and just go apologize and talk to them. Especially if they don’t know what you want.Â
If you stop arranging date nights, they might just assume you don’t feel like going anywhere. If you don’t tell them that you’re upset, they might assume that you’re fine. Those are natural assumptions when someone doesn’t say shit. You can’t expect people to know what is going through your head or when something is hurtful to you unless you open up and say it.Â
It doesn’t matter if you make more money, or stay at home more, or anything else. You are a partnership, not just two people who happen to live together with no impact on each other’s lives what so ever beyond sharing a house.Â
If you want to be that disconnected to your partner and then complain about or be upset that your partner feels upset or whatever, get an actual roommate.Â
4. For the love of god communicate. Just fucking communicate. I don’t know how the fuck you expect to live together and not communiate. Even roommates do some bare minimum level of communicating. You can’t just say “I’m doing this” or “No” and then just leave it at that.Â
You have to actually take the time and explain why you’re doing it, go over the potential impact and consequences for your relationship, feelings, etc.
Decisions become less about just a strict yes or no or I’m doing it and I’m not doing it. You have to sit down and take the time to have a discussion and having a discussion means going further in depth with the issue or (potential) problems you are having beyond just what is basically a yes or no response. Even if you think that the decision will have no impact on your partner what so ever, talk to them about it first.Â
It doesn’t matter that you make all the money or make the most of it, or arrange everything, or do everything anyways. Talk to them.Â
Sure you can afford to buy a new car without taking any money from the joint account and pay for it yourself... Still, talk to them about it before you buy the damn car.Â
Sure you make enough money to buy the second house without it hurting your joint account... still talk to them about it.Â
Even if you think that it is something small like you’re just going to a party or out for a few drinks, talk to them about it. It is not controlling, abusive, etc. to at least talk to your partner and give them a heads up that you’re going out for drinks or to a party even though it sounds like something inconsequential and minor. Actually share your life with them even over minor shit.Â
Communicate with them. You are two separate people yes but also sharing a life together.Â
Stop treating marriage and long-term relationships where y’all live together as if you are just roommates who maybe have kids together
