Now, this was something that got the gears turning. After her initial reaction of resentment and jealousy that this would not have been a ploy she thought up first, her mind began to work through the logical steps that she would take in such a situation. Well, “logical” in the very loose sense of the word.

“I’d hunt them down.” She begins, a simmering, sinister tone bubbling to the surface. “I would get my claws in them, and I’d make them die with me — just as slowly, just as painfully. Not with poison, though: this would be a death I’d want to feel with my own hands.“

An oddly-timed chuckle now escapes her. “Sounds almost romantic, doesn’t it? Enemies dying together.”
