Snagged a commission from one of my faves, @hithren-art, and so happy with how it came out! This is Aethlin, my dark knight from BDO, whom my WoL’s appearance is pretty much based on. I love her relaxed, yet confident attitude here, an attitude she once adopted for survival- until she had become so good at presenting herself this way that it’s basically her reality now.
Anyway, I just love everything about this piece and I’m super jazzed this morning (I woke up to this!) So, thank you to hithren and go commission her, guys!
🌹 Where in the world does your OC feel most at home? Is there any reason why? If it’s not the place they were born, where were they born? Is there a certain somebody that makes them feel at home where ever they may be? What does home mean to them?- Hiro
HIro feels most comfortable where he can work business. So his office, wherever it may be is where he is ‘at home’ and at his ‘best’. It’s where he is the most confident and feels ‘in control.’ which is more important to him than anything.
He was born in Kugane, and ultimately of any place it is the most ‘homeish’ to him but it’s only because things and people make sense there. Unlike many of the other places that he’s gone were there is always something that is boorish and uncultured about them.
If there was a person who made him feel at home it would probably be his sister, Ishiko, if only because she has been a big part of his life since she was born and he would do anything for her, well... almost anything.
Ultimately for Hiroaki, home is where he can be in control of the things around him, where he will be obeyed.
A little gift for the awesome @hithren! I’ve always wanted to draw Arshtat, and had a great time drawing her.

Brendemir Fenwick - Welcome Home
At long last, here is my half of an art trade with the wonderful @hithren, titled “Welcome Home”.
Firstly, thank you for being so patient! This was such a fun piece to work on because it contains elements of Limsa Lominsa and the Azim Steppes. I spent hours listening to Mongolian music and now I have a new-found appreciation for it. It pushed me to try out new ways of writing for the violin and I’m very happy with how it came out, having learned a few new tricks along the way.
Thank you for the art trade, Hithren. It was a great experience. :)

In the colour of lemony and honey, cause she loves it. The coulours used in the program and on the pattern both match with the real yarn’s colour.
