My star ⭐️ 🌟  💫 child. Her name is Astera as why did they give her that name with the unfortunate implications. In my pokemon au, she is the gym leader of Anistar City(yes her outfit is totally inspired by Olympia but she has that three star necklace on her shirt but I tried not to make it skin tight.. cause Ml has a tendency to give the heroes these ridiculously skintight suits that r shiny and showcases them… they’re children!!) Her rings r akin to Hoopa’s and can use them to travel, she can see the past and future, levitation,   teleportation  mind reading including talking to her pokemon just with mere signals and eye contact and much more of her psychic powers 

Also she’s a human who lost her entire left arm and eye 👁 plus some body parts having to replaced due to a childhood incident in a lab. Cause why is the darkest skin girl a white washed robot who’s purpose is to serve others and getter swatted around for 😢 sadrien moments 😮‍💨😖 like Aeon is a absolutely precious cinnamon roll and deserves better.

ok ok hear me out. there are two directions this could go in. More localized, something to do with chat noir and the peacock. BUT that sounds super angsty ngl and the title is a bit more fun than that.

my favorite take is Chat Noir and Sparrow/Eagle. Adrien and Jess being a brotp. Maybe they’re stuck in a trap together in New York, and she’s still super mad that he killed Aeon/Uncanny Valley that one time. But after a while, they start to actually bond a lot because they’re both really frustrated with their parental figures/guardians. The older superheroes are really weighing down on Jess and pressuring her to be more than she can be at that current time. And Adrien is just daddy issues daddy issues daddy issues daddy issues. They also both feel a little inferior to their partners. I mean Ladybug is LADYBUG and Uncanny Valley is an android with an amazing brain and Jess is just a human. They bond EVEN MORE and are like, yeah lets show them! They need us! And then they end up working together to escape whatever trap they were stuck in! 

And then in a parallel situation, Aeon/Uncanny Valley and Marinette/Ladybug are stuck in another trap, and getting out is really tough for them and Ladybug is a bit uncomfortable talking with Uncanny because she knows so much about her identity. Eventually she gets used to it and is actually grateful for the chance to talk about it because she has no one else to really be with. And Aeon feels really sympathetic to her (even if she’s an android she has EMOTIONS okay get out of my face) because at least Aeon has Jess. At least Aeon has her moms! Ladybug is all alone. And she is more grateful for the people in her life, and Marinette gets to have that special someone to vent to. They become really good friends, and have more people in their superhero circle.

AND THEN THE MOST OP BATTLE DUO, CHAT NOIR AND EAGLE/SPARROW COME RESCUE THEM <3 cue marinette and aeon having sleepovers watching movies while chat noir and sparrow/eagle go out and do vigilante shit together. overall the story would focus on jess and adrien, but i like the extra lil details of mari and aeon.

Here's a couple more Miraculous Aeons; Eagle and Snake! The Eagle one was pretty easy, I knew I wanted to do a feathered cloak right away, but I had to think about the snake one for a while (definitely didn't just want to have "skimpy sexy snake outfit", but the trim and scale pattern was kinda plain... then I thought about a slightly transparent fabric, to sort of be like when a snake sheds skin, with opaque sparkles up above that fade to the ends! she also has beads and sparkles in her hair to match~)

This made me remember how someone also asked how I'd redesign Del from gorillaz when I talked about his racist design hahaha. Anyway, unlike Del, I feel like Aeon is just a super easy fix. I was so happy to see an unambiguously black girl on ML, and tbh I was pretty disappointed to find out she was a robot and DEVASTATED to see her hero form was #00000F white. It leaves an awwfffull message tbh.

To start, I would probably lean away from the Egyptian angle. Like that's a lil 😬 to have her be an Egyptian themed robo girl owned by two white people. I don't see why her hero form couldn't be american themed. I mean fuck the US, but that's what they were going for in her design. Her outfit could've resembled someone like wonder woman with the gold red white and blue motif. I can easily see her with long gold gloves and boots, a WW esc body suit and her skin left as it was. They could even leave the third eye I don't care.

If we wanna keep the robot theme to her hero form, fine. But I don't see any reason why she had to be a white robot? They were going for an android look for sure, but there are better ways to do that that dont involve stripping your black character of her black features. They could've had a futuristic high tech look to her. Blue and gold wires running through her suit, glowing eyes, those marionette type lines could've stayed. Her hair should've never been straightened. If they wanted her coils to resemble wires (yeesh) they could've kept that texture tbh, it is NOT hard.
