headcanon: So my explanation for while Adela didn’t just stay at Kaer Morhen in the show is that the School of the Wolf just straight up doesn’t accept girls. Could be slight differences in the mutagens they use that means girls tend to have a higher mortality rate, so they send them along to the School of the Griffin instead, which accepts both.

Witchers are, however, eminently practical in all things, so Griffin School witchers have zero problem with nudity among men and women -- if you’re a witcher you’re going to get cut up, need wounds treated, need to change and bathe and all those other things, and quibbling about who gets to go into the river first or who treats the gash running from your collarbone to your navel is a good way of getting someone killed.

Wolf School witchers don’t quite have that exposure and Adela is absolutely not above hassling Geralt about it (thank you ep2 for having one of the funniest scenes from the franchise imho)

i realized adela has a very similar hairstyle to how i draw geralt. i reasoned that, hey, they met each other young and just sort of imprinted. but i was halfway through drawing this when i realized that vesemir also has the same fucking style and so you know what, everyone just imprints on papa witcher like little baby birds and that’s all i have to say about it
