I know that the Witcher setting is generally firm on biologically girls can’t survive the Trial of Grasses and become Witchers.
But I do still think it’s pretty simple to bring in both ladies Dragonfly and Adela into the game-canon, even with this rule.
For Dragonfly, we know the last generations of the Cats were created with experimental mutations which were successfully able to mutate half-elves (see Gezras as an example). It wouldn’t be too hard to say following this that they could have mutated an entirely human girl who was a child of destiny at that.
As for Adela of the Griffin school, the answer is also very simple: She’s a transwoman.
