But I do still think it’s pretty simple to bring in both ladies Dragonfly and Adela into the game-canon, even with this rule.

For Dragonfly, we know the last generations of the Cats were created with experimental mutations which were successfully able to mutate half-elves (see Gezras as an example). It wouldn’t be too hard to say following this that they could have mutated an entirely human girl who was a child of destiny at that. 

headcanon: So my explanation for while Adela didn’t just stay at Kaer Morhen in the show is that the School of the Wolf just straight up doesn’t accept girls. Could be slight differences in the mutagens they use that means girls tend to have a higher mortality rate, so they send them along to the School of the Griffin instead, which accepts both.

Witchers are, however, eminently practical in all things, so Griffin School witchers have zero problem with nudity among men and women -- if you’re a witcher you’re going to get cut up, need wounds treated, need to change and bathe and all those other things, and quibbling about who gets to go into the river first or who treats the gash running from your collarbone to your navel is a good way of getting someone killed.
