Any advice to an addict?
to stop, you mean?
well, what helped me make my decision to stop is that i asked myself why i do what i do. what was i trying to replace with my addiction? what void was i trying to fill? what alternatives are there? what can i do for myself? how could life be without it?
open your mind. that’s very important. you can’t let go of your addiction if you’re not ready to view things differently. you have to be ready to realize that you have a problem. that you have something you need to change. and you need to be strong, persistent and strict with yourself. withdrawal is awful. but keep telling yourself why you’re doing this. set yourself goals. choose freedom and choose yourself. you can do this, buddy. i’m with you.

Adduction
noun
The act of adducing or bringing forward something as evidence in support of a contention or an argument.
In physiology, the action of the adductor or adducent muscles.
In surgery, the adducent action of a surgeon upon a limb or other member of the body; the position of a part which is the result of such action: the opposite of abduction.
Here is post no. 3 to the Movement of the body series. Today it is about abduction and adduction. Abduction and adduction Abduction and adduction refer to movements made about a sagittal axis and along the coronal plane. Abduction is moving a body part away from its resting anatomical position in the coronal plane; adduction is returning it to its normal resting position (includes ‘hyperadduction’). Examples of abduction Abducting the shoulder joint to lift the upper limb closer to the ears; Abducting the hip joint to lift move the lower limbs away from each other Examples of adduction Returning the shoulder joint back to resting anatomical position Returning the hip joint back to resting anatomical position (bring the lower limbs together again) #adduction #abduction #movement #movementofthebody #body #bodymovement #human #humanmechanics #humanbody #humanmechanic #biology #biomechanics #biophysical #kinesiology #physicaltherapy #reading #learning #understanding #health #wellbeing #massage #myotherapy #assessment #education #healtheducation #motivation #cheltenham #mentone #highett #parkdale (at Ebmyotherapy) https://www.instagram.com/p/CB9Qcb7DhFR/?igshid=19it3abm8860p
